Starting our 2026 family reunion couch tour

I just realized Nugs has so many shows that you can watch. Amazing. So the hubby and I are kicking off our couch tour tonight with Pine Knob 6/29/22. We were there, but I had a bad 🍄 trip that night so this is my first time really seeing the show lol. The band sounds amazing. My husband wept a little when Bobby came out and opened with Half Step. What wonderful memories. I am eternally grateful for this band and for all of you. ❤️💙

For all the SAHM’s in this sub, I have a book for us

Hi ladies. I didn’t know whether I should post this or not, but here goes. I just finished the book Strangers by Belle Burden over the weekend. This book is an autobiography about a wealthy SAHM whose husband has an affair and completely deserts their family: emotionally, physically and financially.

I felt the need to share this because after finishing it, it almost feels like it should be required reading for stay at home moms everywhere. I have been married for 27 years, and I believe I’m married to a really great man who is an excellent husband and father. But so did the author of this book, and she had been married for 20 years. This man completely left their family high and dry, but the twist is that the author is also from a very wealthy family and had some resources of her own. I’m guessing that’s not the case for most of us!

I am not trying to fearmonger or scare anyone. But I am thinking about things in a whole new way since finishing this book. I want to make sure now that my kids and me will be protected if (God forbid) my husband decided to go cuckoo one day and do the same thing as the awful husband in this book. At the very least, it was a riveting read and it’s a great book to add to your summer reading list! Just wanted to out this out there. Peace to all you sweet mamas out there. 💗

Always just one tan paw curled

I’m not sure why our Tortie Circe always just curls this one little paw (and it’s her only tan one!) but this is how she always sleeps. 🥹
