For the Men on this app, what are you guys using as an alternative to BFF?

If you're a guy using this app, you probably know that most of the dudes on here are gay men looking to convert other men. I don't care about anyone's sexual orientation or gender when choosing a friend, but just like everyone else on here, I'm only looking to make friends and nothing more than that. Since bumble believes that people of the opposite sex can't be friends, this app is pretty much dead to men which is why the only posts you ever see positive on here are from women.

This post is just for the guys on here, do you all have any other alternative sites that you use to make friends, one that allows you to make friends with people of all walks of live and don't come with a fee? It's hard enough making friends as an adult, even more so for minorities. Feels like finding good people to be around these days are such a rarity lol.

Thinking of switching to Dark Star from Visible premium

Mainly because I have no service at work with visible. There's one thing I can't seem to find an answer on, I don't really care about hotspots, but I do care about having unlimited data speeds that don't get throttled down to unusable speeds after a certain amount. The main reason I use visible is because of this, is Dark Star truly unlimited or will it cap my speeds after I use a certain amount. And if so, is it different between the unlimited premium and unlimited starter plans. Thank you.

Anyone else with a deep voice, struggle to speak loudly? Need advice.

For those of y'all with a deep voice, do you struggle to speak loudly or project your voice? Kinda embarrassed to say I have had this issue my whole life since puberty, I went from a high pitched voice into a deep voice practically overnight when I turned 12. Talking loudly has always been an issue for me and people often say I talk too low, it's like trying to talk louder is more draining and requires a lot of energy, so I often speak from the throat (head voice) which is easier to project since it lightens the voice a little. I know people say to speak from the diaphragm (chest voice) instead of the throat, but man that's way easier said than done. I feel like I'm going to have to practice just to learn how to actually use my voice properly as a grown ass man. What makes this all sadder is that I literally took a voice class in college for singing, but I guess you lose what you don't use.

I feel like us black dudes on average have deeper voices than some of our counterparts, any advice? This seems like a ridiculous thing to even ask for help on but honestly I kinda hate being told someone can't hear me, and then the times when I do speak louder I end up scaring or startling people due to how deep my voice is (I've literally scared one of my female coworkers in this very manner multiple times even though they've complimented my voice, including others). It's like people like the deep voice but get surprised when they hear it spoken loudly as dumb as that sounds, so I naturally talk low and then have the opposite problem. The only time I ever really project my voice is when I'm checking someone out at the register at work, and that's only if I have to let the next person know they can come up from afar. Aside from that, it's literally draining to speak loudly to me, to the point where sometimes I know I'm speaking low at work and just don't care.

I've been thinking of just sitting in the park and trying to read out loud or something and get used to speaking at that volume. Seems like such a dumb thing to have to do but this isn't the first time I've tried to correct this issue over the years. It's like something that should have come naturally never did. Like how do you learn to speak from the diaphragm when you've been speaking from the throat your whole life. Any advice would help a lot, honestly.

I just unlocked all three wings and begun decorating and have to say, I really like the look of this home. It's like a bar essentially. I covered up the roof but I may open it back up due to their being no balcony or outside area. My only issue with the home is the two pillars in the middle of the floor in all the wings, it's my only cosmetic gripe with it. The built in bank is also excellent and love the vault lol. I'm using this spot as a hang out for all of my companions to meet up. How are you all feeling about Night's Den?
