Mortgage company said they didn’t need our consent or to inform us when they changed our amortization.

We did a port and decrease. Went from $450k to 300k. They changed our amortization from 23 years to 11 years without our knowledge or consent. They said they can do that. We’ve gone through all our paperwork to see and there’s nothing stating anything about amortization at all. We’ve contacted the lawyer we used for the porting process but it’s late and we won’t hear back until tomorrow.

Is this true? It sounds weird to us.

How to cosleep?

This probably sounds so silly, but HOW do you cosleep? Our first was super into her routine and only slept in her crib.
Our second is 5 months old, and I’ve been wanting to visit my mom. She has a 2 bedroom apartment - her bedroom where she has a pullout futon that my daughter sleeps on, and then the guest room. The guest room is a lot smaller, which is fine. But there’s not much room to set up the pack and play in there.
Just wondering how cosleeping works? Do I just lay him in the middle of the bed with no pillows/blankets except to boarder the bed so he can’t roll off? Do I lay with him? Do I cuddle him when I’m in bed, or just leave him alone?

Again, I’m sure this sounds silly but I get so anxious.
I’d probably sleep in a sweatshirt and pj pants so I wouldn’t need a blanket regardless.

Edit to add; probably worth mentioning while he loves cuddling me and being held all day, it’s rare for him to fall asleep on me unless it’s in the carrier and at some type of angle that isn’t just flat

I let one of the employees hold my baby

We went into build a bear today so my daughter could pick out a plush (she picked the calico cat) and while paying, the employee asked my husband how he liked being a dad, and said he hopes to be a dad someday. He was probably about 18.
We also had our 4 month old son with us, so I asked if he wanted to hold him. It was so sweet watching the guy light up and he was speechless after, stumbling over his words.

I really hope he gets to be a dad someday! It was such a cute interaction.

P.S. Our son got the pineapple pig mini bean

Update: ASD 4 year old purposely waking newborn

I posted a month ago that our 4 year old daughter was seemingly purposely waking our 2 month old from his naps.

It’s been a month, and baby is now 3 months old. It hasn’t gotten better and I’m finding myself crying to the point of hyperventilating every night. I have resentment towards my daughter, which I never thought would happen.
Every time I get my son down for a nap, she runs into the room squealing. Once he starts crying, she runs off and plays quietly. The only time he gets a good nap that lasts longer than 30 minutes is if I go for a long car ride with them, and with the price of gas, that isn’t ideal.

We’ve tried laying him in our room, but she can open doors. She just walks into whatever room to wake him and then leaves. I feel terrible because today he had one 30 minute nap all morning, a broken up hour and a half nap in the car (she looked over and screeched to wake him), and then a 30 minute nap in the evening. He’s currently overtired and I’m so worried that he isn’t able to get enough sleep, how this will affect him long term.

I hate that I’m resenting my daughter. But I also hate that my baby is unable to get the sleep he needs.

Edit: I’m genuinely baffled at the amount of people saying to just stop her from doing so, or give her consequences. I have to keep double checking to see if this is the autistic parenting page.
I wanted to vent and get actual advice for an autistic child, not advice for a neurotypical child.
