So, I got another big boy today. We're getting closer to my 28g dream coming true! Now, I've grown lots of mushies over the years, but the crazy "cauliflower" growth at the top of this one is pretty new to me. Anyone else have something similar before? For context, this guy grew out sideways and bumped into another fruiting block that was nearby before I could intervene. The growth started exactly where the tip of the cap touched the other mycelium. Same strain, same birthdays. I'm not mad at it at all, just really fascinated. It's incredibly dense/hard and has a bumpy texture. Shoukd look interesting when it's fully dry. 🍄

After three years of cloning and agar isolation work, I've finally got a bullet-proof PE sub-strain that absolutely crushes what I ever thought I'd be able to produce. Each 6 pound block puts out about 7oz of final product in 3 flushes. 100g wet fruits are normal and 200g happens pretty often. 120g is about the average. My goal is to get a single dry fruit to weigh in at 28g. I'm getting closer every day. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do. I'm proud af. 🤟🍄💪
