i’m getting these very tiny spots, but notice them in my lower back, buttocks, and upper thigh.

not sure what it could be. i’ve been paranoid about bed bugs so i’ve been checking my mattress nonstop, and nothing. i don’t have pets, so im not sure if it could be fleas. i have noticed a fire ant infestation in my room, and did find a lot on my bed. but i just am not sure if these are ant bites or not. they’re tiny, like the size of a pimple, not very itchy.

please help me im losing my mind

I cannot tell what this is. I do have red fire ants in my house, and carpet beetles. The first 3 photos is what I am trying to ID. It’s the bug on the top and bottom side, as well as a close up of the face.

The last 2 are of a crushed carpet beetle. I can’t tell if they look the same and I have extreme paranoia/OCD.

Please help me.

Red Fire Ant Infestation

Hi, so almost a week ago I woke up to two bites, one behind my knee, and one on my flank. Itches terribly and a large welt, like the size of a quarter maybe a little bigger. I sleep fully clothed, at first I thought they were just mosquito bites.

The next day, I wake up to one on my upper thigh about the same size, a quarter, but with a puncture hole. A bite on my genitalia, I also wake up with tiny red dots on my other upper thigh, I will attach photos of my thigh.

5 days later I haven’t gotten a new bite, but I’m terrified I will as I’m sleeping at home tonight and not with my partner. Even at my partner’s I was waking up all night feeling like I was being bit or bugs crawling on me with no marks.

I have searched my bed nonstop, but I am convinced I have them. I have checked everyone’s bed in my house, and nothing. I am literally losing my mind. I can’t focus on anything, and I feel like my entire life revolves around this.

In the car, I itch. In public, I itch. It’s like everywhere I go I feel like a bug is on me or has bitten me!

I’m literally in so much despair. I have a therapy appointment booked tomorrow. I have never encountered bed bugs in my life, and live with family, I’m not sure if they could’ve been exposed that’s why I check their beds.

It’s gotten to a point where I’m considering hiring a professional to inspect while no one is home without telling them (my family). The only thing that stops me is that it feels like a major violation of their privacy which I cannot bring myself to do.

Please, please, please. What can I do? I have scoured my bed with a light and magnifying glass for hours and can’t find anything.

I am convinced that somehow I have them, even if they’re just babies I feel like “omg what if i have them?!?”.

I’ve cross posted to other communities related to bed bugs and have been told that they don’t think it’s bed bugs. But I’m not sure what else to think it could be.

Hi! My dad has been having these small bites throughout his body, it’s been about 3-4 weeks. He is currently under a lot of stress and anxiety, so i thought maybe that but want to rule out other things. He sleeps in his boxers. And we’ve checked his bed for bed bugs and his mattress is perfectly clean, box spring is still in its protective see through plastic cover and it is also clean. No trace of them. I am having an exterminator come check regardless.

Anyone have any clue??? He’s older, so I thought maybe shingles as well but they’re not isolated to one side of the body like shingles typically are.

initially these bites started as a welt with a hole in the middle, small amounts of pus leaking. now it’s been 3-4 days and they look like this, about the size of a quarter, one on my upper thigh and one on the back of my knee. i can’t figure out what it is and it’s stressing me out badly, please help!!!

on my upper thigh near groin area, no itch, not raised. don’t know what it could be… i don’t have pets so i doubt it’s fleas. seen a couple of mosquitoes in the house (small ones) and looked in every room for bed bugs, nothing comes up. i don’t know what to do..

i’ve been seeing bugs recently in my bed. i have a protective plastic cover over my mattress and decided to check inside and found this, can someone please tell me if it is beetles or bed bugs?

so i usually get localized reactions if im bit by ant or stung by a bee. they do get really irritated and all of that, i have these that showed up consecutive days in a row, and want to know what are they? i got them while clothed, one behind my knee, one on my side back/flank, and another on my upper thigh.

not sure what it could be, but there’s a hole in the middle of the bite. last image is hard to see cause i have stretch marks in that area.
