Help working out!

Okay so I need help… dysphoria has been kicking my ass lately and I need to get back to working out and taking slightly better care of my physique. To preface I’m a slim guy but due to my EDS centralizing most of my pain around my hips and my legs any work out that has to do with lower body I’ve (not intentionally) stayed away from, I.E: leg raises, scissor kicks, flutter kicks, v-crunches, basically anything that could cause my femur and hips to click/ slide out of place because it’s always insanely uncomfortable to the point I can’t do more than like 3 reps of whatever exercises and then I give up…. It’s very disheartening and it feels like there’s no use trying sometimes… I just wish I had a normal body that didn’t suck… I know realistically there’s probably nothing that can help but wamp i guess I just needed to vent. Any tips would be greatly appreciated if there even are any that anyone could recommend.

Are people still active on TTR ?

So obviously if the sub is active I’m sure the game has active players but my main question is more if people are still like as open to finding groups along the way? I can’t remember what website I used to use for finding groups for the bosses and factories and things but I haven’t legitimately played in about 4-5 years because when I had really got back into it around 2021/22 I had played it with my ex and after we broke up I didn’t have any full desire to get back on and play alone but I miss the game a lot cause it was a big comfort game for me as a kid, so I’m just curious what the community it like now adays

Does my body give me away?

I’ve been slowly trying to get back into working out but I have EDS and so consistency is hard for me, I just feel like my body is still very hour glass shaped and I feel like it makes it so painfully obvious. I pass 98 % of the time when I have clothes on but I always feel weird about being shirtless outside because I just feel like everyone can tell.

New board, new bearings

Howdy friends I got a question for more consistent penny riders, as per my last post I’m getting a new board soon and I just wanted to ask another question about the bearings out the box: did you add any lubricant to your bearings fresh out of the box ? Or did you cruise on them for a bit to break them in first ? Thanks for all your help penny friends

Getting back into riding

Howdy friends, As the title says I’m getting back into skating/ longboarding I have a nickel board i custom designed forever ago when I was younger and my mom got it for me for my birthday now I’m 24 and I’m getting back into skating and I’ve been between replacing my 27in with a new one so I can retire the old one and keep it for the memories or wait to get a new 27 and upgrade to the 32 inch board so I can start to learn basic tricks and stuff so I can feel more confident at the skate park. My question for you friends is if you have the 27: do you keep your stock bearings or do you switch em? Do you have a preference?
And if you have the 32in: grip tape or nah? I’ve seen only a handful of people on YouTube who put grip tape on their 32in board but I wanted to know some opinions before I just do it. Also same question as before do you change the bearings ? Did you change the wheels? I’ll probably keep the stock wheels personally cause I like them but still wanna hear what yall riding around on 😎 and final question: does anyone have any tips or tricks maybe you developed or heard that helped you get more comfortable and confident on your board/ riding. I’m also half blind so sometimes that fucks with my balance but I adjust😅 i basically taught myself everything I know through YouTube videos but I’d love some actual advice and discussion, thanks for all the help penny pals

How friendly are the Skaters of ypsi/ Ann Arbor

Hello friends so I recently moved out this way with my partner and I’ve been wanting to get back into longboarding now that I have my penny board out of storage and my recently gifted long board (not sure brand or anything tbh but it rides nice) I have really skated at all in the last 4-5 ish years but I wanna get back into it. I mainly stick to my 27” penny skateboard and the wooden long board I was gifted because I’m half blind so I don’t trust myself to really land tricks without hurting myself but I’d love to be able to drop into bowls and try out at least going down/ over ramps and stuff nothing to crazy, but my question is how friendly/ welcoming are the people at the skate park to people like me who aren’t there to really do anything crazy cool, just kinda enjoying the sunny weather? Including video of me this morning at the empty park by house doing the only lil ramp im comfortable on so far 😭🫪
