Scratch/Rasguño (Truesona, Alter) [Arachnophobia WARNING]

Based on the tarántula Tliltocatl verdezi/Brachypelma verdezi! However what makes it different is that it's a were-tarántula!

We have been very curious on implementation of various stuff look at our prior posts on fursonahelp, furgonomics, and here on bug_people!

We experience DID (dissociative identity disorder), AuADHD (autism & attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), gender dysphoria, disabled with chronic sciatica, myopia, and other many things!

We wanted to explore personal protective equipment, mobility aid, and braces. Definitely would love to see more art of sonas/alters with eyewear, braces, splints & mobility aids who are neurodivergent. Whether is literal or metaphorical.

To explain the mouth it opens similar to fortune-teller origami that goes in/out/open/shut (with top/bottom & left/right sides). This emphasizes us being DID/transgender alongside the were-tarántula aspect.

Even the fangs retract for wearing a mask on the mouth as well as a mask on the abdomen for the book lungs! The mask is based on N95 "Duckfold" mask! We are Covid cautious/realists for allowing life affirming space aligned with disability justice!

We also use Ergocane 2G and Body Braid to help us be mobile! We wanted to include those in this design. Even the glasses are like goggles (which we eventually want to help prevent ocular spread, we just have regular lenses atm).

Scratch/Rasguño is very playful, curious, instinctual! Speaks in in 3rd person often expressing feelings, describing sensory experienced in very specific detail, and loves food/naps.

Would want to eventually explore what clothes would be like! Definitely alt/punk/goth/emo style for sure!

[HIRING] Bugsona Arachnid, $100 Max Budget

Budget Max $100 (With preference to at least being one or all: BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, disabled, neurodivergent, & plural). We (plurality) wanna work with artist(s) who all gets itttt.

Even better if main artwork is entomology/have done bugsonas before, main artwork is folklore/mythology/have done werewolves before, and with the artwork/portfolio work isn't just slim/ripped bodies.

Originally posted on subreddit DrawForMe (check out for more info [also subreddit uses "me" but are a "we" as mentioned before being a system]) and want to incorporate a tarantula sona that has cane(s), masking (respirators not medical), glasses, goth/alt fashion, etc!

This tarantula would be a mix of tarantula & werewolf! That switches to bipedal and being on all legs.

If not seeing a real interest in commission comments (must comment in post or will ignore DM request) or suspicion of generative AI (not responding and/or moving forward).

Arachnid Sona (Ideas on Theoreticals?)

We (plurality) are wanting to have an arachnidsona! Specifically a tarantula. We use a cane, glasses, and mask. We were wanting to incorporate those aspects in our tarantula bugsona too!

We had posted on subreddits fursonahelp and furgonomics (which are very similarish in posts) to see what other thoughts or in corporations there might be! Feel free to respond with any ideas for visuals or suggestions!

Arachnid Sona & Theoreticals (NO Gen AI)

This would be for a tarantula to be specific. Other kinda arachnid welcome tho. No generative AI. Actual life made images/writings only.

  1. How to include with mobility aids? (Canes, crutches, walker, rollator, [manual/powered] wheelchair, etc)

* There has been shoe/sock/pant talk before when handling legs/abdomen/etc. What might that look like?

  1. Wearing masks (not surgical as there is no seal and not great at Filtration). It would be respirator masks shapes such as (cup, flat fold/Bifold, Boat/Trifold, & Duck bill). That means like N95, N99, KN95, KN100, KF94, FFP2, & FFFP3.

* How might these masks cover the face? Would it include mandibles? What would cover a tarantulas face properly?

  1. Wearing glasses? How might eye lenses be for a tarantula with glasses? How would it fit/look?
