Hi! I think this is my second post in this sub—I'm not really sure, lol.

There was a time when I asked what animal my fursona could be. Some of you said a deer would be good, others a rabbit, and I was left wondering which of the two to choose.

However, a week ago I started looking for alternatives, and I came across an animal that I felt I identified with more: The slow loris.

This animal looks super cute, but it’s also venomous! I love that combination (reference to the Pokémon I posted below, which I love x2). Let’s just say the slow loris hit me out of the blue; I had no idea it even existed. Since it doesn’t have a tail, and I 100% wanted one, I decided to combine it with a lemur’s tail. And ta-dah!

This is the first time I’ve drawn a fursona. So I was hoping to get some design advice from the experts. I’m open to constructive criticism, too. <333 ( ⓛ ω ⓛ *)

I'm new to the community and started figuring out my fursona a few weeks ago, also asked help on here back then. I've come back with some rough ideas now and I'd really appreciate some help regarding them :,3

First slide is three my main ideas, I really enjoy all of them. As you can see the color pallette is most likely blue and pale yellow / cream. Second slide is a bit more experimenting with the ferret one, as I was the most unsure about that one (the original idea for the ferret was I think u / Beautiful-Length-565)

So, a few questions:

1. which one is the best in your opinion?
2. how can i improve the designs? (keeping in mind that these are just very rough sketches)
3. which one of them suits me the most? (quote from my last post:  "i'm just a basic blonde, blue eyed and pale girl. personality wise i'm really energetic and always doing something, i have tons of interests that i spend all my time on, and i love music."
4. what should I take into consideration as i go on designing my fursona?
5. anything else???

​Hi everyone! First time posting here.

​I wanted to ask for your feedback on my Dutch Angel Dragon OC/Fursona, "Diana". I created her back in 2021 and I'm still deeply attached to her and her design. Telephone was a huge inspiration for me joining the DAD community, and I just couldn't resist making a character of my own.

​My question is: does Diana remind you too much of Telephone? I’m planning to get a fursuit in the future, and my biggest fear is having people view her as just a palette swapped version of Telephone. I tried my best to make her unique, but I'm worried her muzzle ring, which is very reminiscent of Telephone's, makes them look too similar.

If that's the case, I’m open to redesigning her!

I feel kinda sad I don’t see many vernids. Low-key have no one to talk about them. Is it even good for vernid (design rules) So let’s yap

Hey! I decided to redesign my fursona so it reflects me better (and, well, I just liked the idea). I wanted to cross a podengo and a capuchin (dog and monkey), but I have a feeling it just looks like a regular dog with a white muzzle

I know the differences will be noticeable in the tail and paws (more on the monkey side), but I still think there are too many dog traits here. Of course, the white part of the muzzle will be hairless, like a capuchin's, but also a bit longer

Anyway, I need some advice on how to portray this much better :)

I’m feeling like it lacks a certain pizazz

I think I must've chosen one of the most bland animals for this guy, they don't really have any major design things other than a gradient on the back from what I can find

Preferably, any answers will include cool coyote species that look more interesting than what I'm familiar with, or any constructive criticism against might be holding my current design back
