I booked a haircut for my son at a new salon and after he was finished, I tried to book an appointment with the same stylist for full highlights for myself. The receptionist said this stylist doesn’t do full highlights. She’s a senior stylist so why would that be?

I don't get it because in the beginning Tamra was fun. Yes she had her bitchy energy, but she genuinely laughed and had a good time. That's gone now. There's no joy in her anymore. I don't know what happened, but she seems completely miserable all the time. You can see it in her face.
It seems like every day on here people are posting hatred for Bethenny, picking over every single thing she does or doesn’t do. If you hate her so much, why are you still following her after all these years? She hasn’t been on the show since 2019.
This is just a vent post. I’m trying to get my mom into her own activities. We got a house together with my mom because she can’t drive anymore. We moved to a new area but her friends in our old city had sadly died or were in skilled nursing facilities, so her only friends are her old childhood friends in another state. I try to get her to sign up for activities at our community clubhouse which has a full time activities director. It’s the main reason I chose this community. She says she doesn’t like to play cards and “that’s all they do there”. That’s false, they have a variety of activities and events, but she keeps making excuses. I don’t want to sign us up together because she’ll expect me to go with her every time. I just want some time alone. I can’t go anywhere without her. She insists on going every single time I leave the house. Grocery shopping every time, even if it’s a quick trip for milk and bread, which turns into an hour because she will wander around picking up junk food. Taking my son to school, picking him up, taking him to his friends and activities, walking the dogs, going to the post office, everything. She even complained that she couldn’t come on date night with my husband. That and her constant talking and following me around the house. I hide in the bathroom sometime just for privacy and sometimes I hear her outside the door talking to the dog saying “Where’s your mommy? What’s she doing?” 😫
We sold our house and the closing is in two weeks. The title company reached out today to say there’s an expired permit from an AC unit in 2016 that was never closed out from before we even bought the house. I called the city and they said I have to have a new contractor take over the permit and have the city come and inspect the unit and fill out a form to close out the permit. Problem is I can’t find a contractor that’s willing to do it. The title company said it won’t affect clearing the title, but will it affect the closing? Obviously I’m having my Realtor look into it, but has anyone run into this before? What happens if I can’t clear out the expired permit?
I’m sleeping better but I’m exhausted and barely able to function. I was wondering if cold turkey wasn’t the best idea. Should I have maybe have a half glass of wine to ease my system into it? I was drinking 2 to 3 glasses of wine daily previous to stopping.
We’re in SW Florida. Our buyers just had their inspection yesterday and our realtor said everything looked good, they’re only waiting on results of an air quality test, not radon, just air quality. I’ve never done an air quality test during inspection so what would they be looking for and what possible problems would there be? I’m trying to think of if there would be any expensive problems on my end.
I know she’s doing something to compromise her credit card, but I can’t figure out what it could be. It has to be something she’s doing because she’s had to replace her card at least six times that I can remember in the past year or so. She also constantly gets scam texts and emails. I know everyone gets them, but she gets way more than I do so I’m assuming she’s clicking on things she shouldn’t, but I don’t know how they’re getting her credit card information. I tell her all the time don’t click on the scam emails and don’t click on the texts but I know she does click on some of them. How do I prevent this from continually happening?
Edit: She just said she’s going to order a dog collar and I said told her not to order it online, I’ll take her to the store because I think that’s how her credit card is being compromised. Of course she argued with me and said that’s how she always does it and she always gets what she ordered. I’m trying to explain that’s not the problem, but she won’t listen. 🤦🏻♀️
