Is this "natural water source" safe to drink AND unlimited?
Apologies if it's a silly question, I just need to know as this little beauty might mean I need to change my WHOLE base.

First of all, its worth mentioning that this playtest has come on leaps and bounds from the last one, so props to the devs for their hard work on that. But I don't think I'm wrong in saying this game is not ready for release in its current state imo.
The audio is awful. For a game based on communication, the robotic voices from teammates make it impossible to understand them. Sometimes it works fine, then other times players sound awful.
The overall audio also just doesn't feel right. I get that Vietnam would have been a very loud war, with such close proximity jungle warfare, choppers flying around, grenades going off. But it's an absolute clusterf*ck. You've got no chance of pinpointing an enemy position because there is too much going on. Now that's great if that's what they intended. But I found even when I was away from the main action, it was still really difficult to pick up audio cues from someone shooting at me.
Secondly, the gameplay just feels off and I'm not even sure why, guns don't feel weighty, the sound design is poor and the muzzle flash just looks... odd.
It certainly has a more arcadey feel than the original HLL and again, if that's their plan then that's great.
I also think this map in the new playtest is pretty bland compared to the last one. I didn't notice a single tunnel built by the Vietnamese soldiers when I played tonight (4 games). It's also a lot smaller which is why it maybe felt "arcadey".
Now, it's not all doom ane gloom. The foundations are there for a really fun fps game, they just need some serious fleshing out.
At times I had great fun, creeping through the jungle and taking out enemies. But at the choke points it all felt a little crazy. I have my fingers crossed that they can turn this into somethings special.
Now before all the gatekeepers come at me, I'm not bashing the game, it just massively worries me that in 2 weeks this game hits FULL RELEASE and not just early access. It doesn't feel anywhere near ready right now.
If you asked someone with no knowledge of the franchise to play HLL and HLL Vietnam, I'm almost certain that they'd think OG HLL is the newest game out of the 2. Yes I'm aware that HLL has had lots of updates since release, but you'd like to think that during that time the team would have learnt a few lessons and got it right in the new release, I just worry they haven't.
But I'm holding out hope for them, because I'd love a good Vietnam FPS game. Best of luck to the devs.
I have a 9070xt, fairly high spec pc and the game is running fine. I just can't get rid of this weird white/glow outline around players and also around the edge of water. Amyone else having this?
Hi all. Me and my friend got into the game a few weeks ago, currently ranked around the 40/50 mark. We're getting a bit fed up of joining servers and struggling to find a squad who actively communicate or work as a team.
Those times we have found those squads, the game is instantly more fun.
Are there any servers that anyone can recommend?
We've played a lot in the band of brothers server and had a blast with teammates who communicate, but the last two times we've played it, we've struggled to find that sort of squad.
So I'm approx 40 hours in, I've mainly played rifleman but looking to branch out into other classes.
I've seen a lot of talk on "nodes" and was just wondering if anyone could explain them to me.
What are they? When/how are they best utilized?
Apologies if it seems a dumb question, I'm really getting into the game and want to branch out.
Really love having a functioning squad who all communicate but that seems to be few and far between.
Anyone else massively excited after that gameplay trailer? Cannot WAIT to create a wildlife reserve for the wolves.
