Looking back on the night that Stamkos could have scored 5 goals against the Blues, but only scored 4 out of respect for former LSU QB Jayden Daniels

Fort Jefferson Hill, overlooking the Mississipi River in Wickliffe, KY

Located around a mile or so downstream from Fort Defiance, all three area bridges connecting Kentucky, Illinois, and Missouri are visible in the distance.

The Mississippi River as seen from the top of the Gateway Arch in St Louis

Taken this past December when I visited St Louis to see my team play the Blues.

Obviously not the view you ride the tram up for - that’s located on the other side of the hall - but still very much enjoyed the chance to look down at a different state from this high up as a border nerd

Cave-in-Rock, IL - along the bank of the Ohio River on the border with Kentucky

The Ohio River is very interesting in that the actual state boundary is about 100 feet from the Northern bank of the river as opposed to being split down the middle. I find that just as interesting as this cave that is right on the river

The confluence of the Mississippi & Ohio Rivers at Cairo, IL, at the tripoint where Missouri, Illinois & Kentucky meet

The exact tripoint is located ~2000 feet off the riverbank in the Mississippi, above the small sign near the river on the right hand side of the first photo.

Also included photos of the two rickety bridges that connect this park to Missouri & Kentucky

Harrowing footage taken inside of a brutal teen takeover where a local man was mobbed for all of his vegetables

Authorities say the man was taken to the hospital where his hand had to be amputated, and the teens got away with hundreds of dollars worth of peas, corn, and other produce. You can hear the fire department responding in the background, but the teens dispersed before the authorities arrived.

Those who know any information about the perpetrators - some of whom are seen in this footage - are urged to contact crime stoppers

I live in a city with some cool landmarks. But geese make them look better

Bonus points for whoever correctly guesses where this was taken!
