I have a soft-modded Xbox that has a bad HDD. A self-induced bad HDD (I deleted the wrong files), but regardless of my error, it boots to a You need service screen. Is there any recovery from this? I don't know the eeprom to swap another HDD. I was thinking of adding a modchip but my soldering is not good. I've seen the Conductive pens, do they actually work? Even a temp fix is fine I just need the eeprom so I can rebuild the HDD. Perhaps I can buy a modded xbox off ebay and get the eeprom to unlock the HDD. I want another xbox for LANing anyways.

All the fuss is it is nostalgic, I've had it since the Xbox launched. I hate to trash it for my dumb mistake.

I'm getting quotes for a new septic system to replace my failing existing system. We have been approved to use a NPDES system by the county due to the available usable area in the back yard. An idea we like is moving the new tank to the front yard. It is currently in the backyard so the main drain would have to route around the house and down the side of the yard. We have plenty of frontage so that is not the issue. The issue I see is the length of the 4" main. It would be like 175' of total run with a couple turns around the house. For sure cleanouts at the connection and turns then down the main run. We have plenty of elevation we are up on a hill. We have a good 6' of elevation gain front to back. We like this as it opens the back yard up and moves the drain from running down our back hill and woods. We use our woods and want to keep the path dry from the septic drain off. It day lights right at the path, I've put a corrugated pipe to divert it away but it's not ideal.

TLDR: How long is to long for a 4" septic main. Also are a couple turns around the house feasible?

We like this route but are not stuck and have to do it nor set on it.

We are in Ohio and I'd like to take my sons to PA to ride at Mines and Meadows. They are 12 and 10 and experienced riders. We've been to Ohio State parks and private places in Ohio.

Question is what is the easiest way to get them certified to ride in PA?

I'm blanking on how to create the attached part. I need a helical extrude or cut 1 revolution with a .55 pitch. I thought I could sweep cut it but I'm getting an error. The "bottom" would just be the smooth helical face. Any help is appreciated.

My kid tipped his LT160 on its side taking a turn to right and caught a rut while riding last weekend. He is fine no damage to him or the quad. My question is, the carb started leaking from the drain tube pretty significantly. I gave it a few minutes with the petcock off and tried again, still leaking. We called it a day and headed home. Just got around to taking a look. Gas on no leaking now. Started up without much fuss and it idles fine. Did the float get stuck and the trailer ride home knock it loose? Just curious at this point it seems to run fine now.
