The little white puffball was afraid of going outside when I first got her (was from a dog hoarding house per the rescue organization) but over the past few months, she's gotten used to being outside and wants to go for walks with her amstaff / pitty big brother (even jumps up and down now when she sees me pick up her lease and harness).

We started out with shorter jaunts around the neighborhood and in the park. I've got her up to going for 2 miles a day now, but she seems to do OK if we push it to 3 or 4 mile longer walks (or split into two walks morning/evening). I think she's put on at least a pound of solid muscle! I can feel the difference when I pick her up and see the difference in her profile.

Watching her little legs go is kinda adorable.

I've never had a dog this size before. Are there any concerns with taking a maltese out for longer regular walks?

Michigan implementing ‘the rhino thing’ with returning offensive line

They seemed confused by this on the MGOROUNDTABLE this morning WTKA, but the Michigan Daily has the answer. We'll be playing an extra lineman as part of our base package rather than a TE or FB/H-Back. This should give us an extra gap to run to and help in pass pro.

Should give Ohio State fits.

Fairly obviously, the actress does not fit the role in any comic accurate way other than having red hair. Adult Jean should be a total smokeshow and the actress who plays her should also be capable of playing Goblin Queen in standard attire - if the Sinister storyline is in play.

Do you think it was a conscious decision on the part of Disney to tone things down? Would having a real head-turner play Jean/Madelyn in some way turn off viewers from younger generations?

Marvel seemed to do the same thing when casign MJ. Zendaya, Cute, good actress, and I enjoy her in the part (as limited as the writing has been for her), but doesn't look like a bikini model from the comics.

This stands in contrast to the actors for male parts like captain america, thor, etc... who are selected in part for how much than can beef up in the gym and on steroids to look like the comics.

The past couple seasons he's put up ~70% completion rate and 3000+ yards for TCU. Very impressive on the face of it - but most of those teams in the B12 are only a step above good MAC squads.

The early season expectation seems to be Hoover will just drop into Indiana and they'll pick up where they left off, but something to note is Hoovers performance against BYU last year.

Hoover went 10/23, 0 TD, 2 INT QBR 43.2

Jay Hill did that and he's of course Michigan's DC now.

In the 2024 season against one of the worst Utah teams in Whit's time, Hoover went 22/41 with no TDs or INTs and a QBR of 54.4.

My impression is we're going to beat Indiana when they visit Ann Arbor this year AND Indiana will probably put up eye-popping numbers against the little sisters of the poor they play OOC and probably some of the B1G bottom feeders, but they're going to struggle against the teams that can play defense.

B1G is thought to have 5 teams vying for 3 to 4 CFP playoff spots

Considering Ohio State is playing Texas OOC, that's pretty rough. Oh well.

Indiana plays a little sisters of the poor OOC.

Otherwise, fairly balanced for all the contenders. If everyone beats each other up, it will be a real mess come selection time with no clear better team. If any of the above play these slates and come trough clean, you know they've gotta be great.

Purdue and Wisconsin, OTHO, have very very light schedules and will probably be ranked higher than they deserve as a result unless they completely tank.

MSU looks like a horror story on paper right now. They open with Toledo and EMU and they could lose both. EMU looks like they'll have a pretty good offense with a bunch of experienced P4 transfers starting (including Sparty's former staring QB and a TB that played at Michigan last year). If their D comes around, they could be a decent team.

IE show the Bela Lugosi version as a silent film with subtitles with only the Glass and Kronos soundtrack synced up. It would give us yet another way to enjoy this timeless classic and I think the squad could have a lot of fun with the music and related trivia / jokes.
