I really like SOT1, but I hear SOTS 2 is much less beloved. Is the bad reputation deserved or have, for example, mods improved/fixed the game? The game is on sale at the moment.

I like both offline and online racing. Sadly AMS2 is mostly offline still, but fortunately the AI is quite decent and more important an important focus area of the devs (unlike in other racing titles).

As the official career mode is not available yet, I am looking for a good modded one. Which ones do you guys like the best and why? Things I (think I) like:

• Various disciplines of racing (from entry to F1/WEC etc) (please note I have all of AMS2's content)
• [optional] Price money/sponsors and costs (not necessary element but could be fun, but I am not looking for a full blown management title, so preferably something quite straightfoward and not too deep) I like to spend more time on the track and in menus (a 80/20 split in time spent would be best or even more racing time).
• Customizable (e.g. in terms of AI diffculty, scaling lengths of races, grid size)
• Flexibility in terms of career (i.e. you can specialise in certain discipline or do varous things like Alonso and Verstappen recently)
