I received an email from Coinbase today informing me of upcoming “Improvements upgrades to your Vault”.

“We’re introducing Transfer Protection settings to give you more control over account security.

On 6/11/2026, we’ll consolidate your Vault balance with your account balance and apply Transfer Protection settings to your entire account. No action is required.

Custom transfer limits
Start with a $1,000 daily limit on withdrawals from your account.

Safely bypass limits
Verify with multi-approval and time delays for larger transfers.”

So they are going to limit transfers to a max of $1,000, but give me a way to bypass the limits but institute time delays? Imagine a bank or brokerage doing this…
