Was sent the Brick Shop Warthog through a review program and enjoyed putting it together. Much closer in size to the 10th anniversary warthog than the standard Halo Mega minifigure builds. Lots of new parts make it look more like a standard model than a brick build. The included Hot Wheels version is unimpressive, but if this is the last Halo building set we ever get, it’s not a bad way to go out.
For those still looking to pick the bones of Mega’s corpse, the Squid Game set just hit an all time low of $35 on Amazon. Run there before they are all gone, but stop before you are seen…😉
Seeing the clunky and overpriced Star Trek stuff that Lego is putting out has me wishing for a mirror universe on this Throwback Thursday...one where Mega did so much more with Star Trek when they had the rights to it. There was so much potential for other ships, sets and minifigures that could have been amazing. You could see that potential in some of the customs that have been created over the years by a fan base hungry for more, my own being the least of those. Still grateful, however, for what did come out...the Enterprise remains one of the standout builds in my collection. Build long and prosper!

What are your thoughts on the cost savings vs. a 90 day warranty on a renewed 21” 80v dual battery mower? Was texted this offer and a 20% off code will work on it. Figured at the worst I will end up with 2 fresh batteries and another charger. Anyone here had experience with a renewed mower?
Just got this set through a review program and these “nano” figures are such step down from the Mega minifigures. I don’t believe that this set will be a big seller, but imagine how much better it would do if it was filled with a dozen articulated figures instead of these tiny statues. Does Mattel not know their potential buyers, not care what they want, or have some keen insight that everyone is missing? 🤷♂️
Made this for the 70th anniversary of D-Day…kind of hard to believe that was 12 years ago. Still saluting all who have served and those that continue to do so.🫡

The email from Ebay takes about a week to arrive once you submit your request, and I’ve been enjoying the trip down memory lane this report has made possible. It helped me recall my effort to complete an NES collection shortly after the turn of the century when prices were at their lowest. After scouring my local Funcolands, I turned to Ebay to hunt down the titles I had been unable to find locally. Although they cost more than I typically paid for an NES game at the time, given today’s prices, my 2003 buying spree turned out to be a good move.
