JO Employee Planning to Apply for a Night Shift BPO Job – Need Advice
I've been working as a Job Order (JO) employee in our local government unit since 2023. Recently, I've been considering applying for a night shift BPO job, either for better income or to explore a different career path.
I have a few questions and would appreciate any advice:
- Will applying for or working a BPO night shift job affect my current JO status?
- Should I include my JO position in my resume as work experience when applying to BPO companies?
- During interviews, should I mention that I'm currently employed as a JO employee?
- Are there any challenges I should expect when transitioning from a government JO position to the BPO industry?
For additional context, I don't have much formal BPO experience aside from a brief trainee experience in the past.
