LENOVO LOQ WATCHDOG VIOLATION, NVLDDMKM.SYS AND WARRANTY APPLIED
Hi guys, I'm going to talk about some issues that I'm having with my Lenovo LOQ Laptop and experience with the warranty in Peru.
First of all, you have to know that I bought it in july 2025, it has an Intel Core i5-13450HX, a RTX 5060 and 24GB of RAM.
Since august 2025, I've been having this nvlddmkm.sys issue, but because of time I did not do nothing about it.
In january, it was enough for me, the error happened 4th times per day or more or less but it was very annoying, algo the laptop froze and restarted.
I applied the warranty in April and they changed the motherboard, I did not paid for nothing, also they give me a "better processor" it's an Intel Core i7-13700HX. The tech guy told me that maybe they send me this motherboard because they do not have the same I used to have.
Honestly it was ok for me, because it was almost the same processor.
Nowadays, the issues are worse than ever, It worked nice for a week, but now I have the same nvlddmkm.sys error and now it freezes I don´t know why and this error appears WATCHDOG VIOLATION, also when I connect the charger ,when the battery is very low, it freezes and restart. Other error is that when I close the laptop because I´m going to do something else or I'm moving to another place and I open it again, this has been restarted, I don't know why and all the work I have not saved disappears.
Also It happened when I'm using Opera, Chrome, word, Excel but not meanwhile I'm playing a game. What I use the most in Opera is emails, Hubspot, Canva, Google tools and YouTube. I think it's a light load for the laptop I have.
The first time I applied the warrany it took like more than 2 weeks to solve it, because the first time they send a Blocked motherboard and the thech guy could'nt install the windows and BIOS. So he had to ask for another motherboard and it took like 4 days. The first motherboard was the sames as I had but the second one was the one with the Intel Core i7-13700HX.
I'm applying the warranty for the second time, I request for a ticket on 05/04/2026 on Lenovo Peru page. 05/08/2026 they send me an email saying that the repair parts have being sent to my city.
I'm still waiting for the technician to get in touch with me to fix my laptop, and I'm really fed up with all these problems. I bought this laptop and didn't expect to have all these issues before a year had even passed since I bought it and FOR ME as a student this laptop was not cheap at all.
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix these issues?
Is anyone else having the same problems with their laptop as I am?
