Yeah yeah "I don't notice / I don't mind / etc.". I can appreciate the improvements they did but also feels like there's still more to be done.
1. Move animation > Hit > Pokemon standing while text plays > Fainting. Just ignore the 3rd step man, it's like if the pokemon just forgets that it's supposed to faint.
2. Abilities/Held Items/Status triggers. On the same note, and in general, things could/should just happen at once and not one by one.
Burn animation > HP drain > Text.
Ability/Item Pop Up > Effect > Text.
Like seriously, it already can get to a ridiculous level with: Leftovers Pop up > HP restore > Text > Burn/Poison animation > HP drain > Text.
Then you can still add stuff like Leech Seed and makes things even longer at the end of every turn.
It should all happen at once, it'd save so much time in the long run.
3. Underwhelming use of Text Boxes. They show a big space for the boxes but yet the longest text you can get is like a line and a half, and then they show other text just one line at a time.
So instead of:
>Super effective against Arcanine.
>A critical hit!
>Not very effective against Meganium.
>Meganium fainted.
Just do:
>Super effective against Arcanine. A critical hit!
Not very effective against Meganium. Meganium Fainted.
4. ARCHALUDON. Or well, Electro Shot, just why does it always play a long animation? Stuff like Solar Beam can do a quick 1-turn animation yet ES just has to play a whole movie no matter what.
It has the extra attribute of giving +1SpA but then again, that could simply be shown through the same Text Box to speed things up.

There's the recent interview about the producer supposedly saying they aim to have battles be a faster pace and what not so ideally these things get addressed.

-Oh and also Ranked progress kinda sucks? Like hmm yes I sure am glad I win and lose the exact same amount so can end up just in the exact same place I began, very thoughtful.
There's win-streaks sure but also the game feels like it Will make sure you also go on lose-streaks so again, back to 0.
And the climb from Masterball to Champion doesn't really feel very incentivizing, losing more elo than you win and it's not even consistent, you're kinda better off just not battling anymore once you get to this tier which of course is not ideal if they want people to get more into battling and what not.
