Putting in that little bit of effort

Went ahead and put in a little more effort to a model that by all right was "done" but after posting and seeing it on the shelf felt I could do better. So I put an extra 4 hours into it and got stunning results. Anytime you feel you could have done better, nothing says you can't just add on, beautiful think about painting is that freedome.

Models for my campaign

Just a bit of a progress report on the models that I've been able to print and paint so far for my own curse of strahd campaign. Really love the model I found from loot studios for Anastrasya, the second bride.

If anybody has any suggestions on good additions that they have found for their own games. I'd love to start adding more to the miniatures collection as well as some battle maps. They're almost to Valaki and things are gonna be heating up soon.

Edit, shameless plug but If you like and wanna fallow more closely this be my page https://www.instagram.com/highland_minatures?igsh=ZDE2bmhtazV0M3No

Ancient Rock Worm

This is a model from the loot studios bundle The Undercaves. So much fun to paint and work on. Wa sitting on the shelf with just a prime for about a year before finding the washes I wanted to use on this big old boyo.

It's a really cool model and I was struggling with a way to have this model make an appearance, and The way I was able to incorporate it was to have my party go after a cult who was trying to perform some sort of ritual, they go into the underdark and into an ancient cave until they come to a statue of a giant maw of a rock worm, it looks like there's a path leading in and they eventually come to the ritual unable to stop it in time. They discover that it is actually a massive spell to undo petrification. Really fun and was a big shock for everybody on the table, will probably start doing it as a one shot every now and again. Different groups of course.

The models from the start collecting

These are some bad boys and girls I printed and painted up in the new year. I really fell in love with the vampiric undead army when doing the models. And the human empire gave way to let me me more colourful than I normally would be with fantasy models I do for DND or other tabletop roleplay games.

Just a little showcase, how they can be appreciated here and maybe convince those who haven't gotten the girls for the start collecting 2025 to do so!

Can check out more I do here as well

Robot legion

Some guys I painted up after having leftovers from a printing order, kinda dig the look and the basses from OPR. I know it's a little basic and hard to see the layering with metalics but pretty happy with the results.

Alien Planet Terrain

This is from a little while back and has since found a new home at a local gaming club. Getting a whole lot more use than my home games could allow, but felt proud of it and wanted to share to see if anyone has any advice on some painting schemes or techniques.

The files themselves can be found on my mini factory, all free and all amazing and easy to print. Mine done on the Elogoo Neptune 4 max. Makes terrain projects a breeze, especially if you're not too worried about layer lines, thick paint and layers like these had his every one.
