How can I best support my depressed sister?

Me (18F) and my sister (30F) are both diagnosed with depression. We live together, but technically I live in her apartment since I don’t chip in for rent (every other expense is covered though). She’s been in a heavy crisis for about 10 years now and I feel like I’m old enough now for her to start relying on me for help from time to time.
She doesn’t believe in herself and doesn’t listen to anyone who tries to encourage her. She has no definite goals, no motivations and keeps pushing people away, even me. She has suicidal thoughts but doesn’t plan on acting on them, her words: “I won’t kill myself, but I’m not gonna save myself either”.
I know I can’t completely fix her problems and/or force her to seek help, but she’s been my absolute rock my whole life and I wanna try and give her some love she deserves. How can I best approach this?

I can never control what I’m saying and it’s ruining my life. Any advice?

Recently I started my official diagnosis journey so I thought this community might help, even though I’m not sure if it’s an autism issue or just a me issue.

For as long as I can remember I’ve felt like I can’t ever control never say the right thing. By that I don’t mean the objectively right thing, but more so what I myself considered a right thing to say at that moment. The reason I started getting concerned is that it’s getting worse. For the last year or two I feel like I’m completely out of control with my words and gestures. I exaggerate, I lie and I often hurt people by it. Of course, it’s never about physical violence - I’m only ever like this with words, I never get the urge to hit anybody. Nevertheless, I’ve lost almost all of my friends and have honestly said some pretty offensive stuff to some people in the last 6 months.

I always know that what I’m saying is wrong, but for some reason I just can’t stop. In the last 2 years it went from me saying stuff and thinking “why would I say that?” a month later to saying stuff and immediately thinking “oh. oh no, stop. stop, please stop, why are you saying this?” Except I never stop. It’s incredibly annoying to me and to other people. It’s also very hard to explain to my friends that “whatever offensive things I say aren’t actually my thoughts, I’m just lying and I don’t know why”.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? I would greatly appreciate the help, I feel like I’m going insane
