did i break something?
went to tighten my chain and i think i over tightened the axle nut, tire has resistance when spun. and that rattle from the chain doesnt sound normal. might have over tightened it at first but loosened and the rattle remains. help?
EDIT: thanks for the help! i originally was confused about how to measure the slack, even with the picture on the bike due to some youtube videos showing them only pull up to measure.

filter running without water
i had a power outage for a whole day and forgot to unplug it in case the power came on when i was working. that happened. it came on when noone was home and it ran dry for maybe 2 hours before i could make it back to fill it. i filled it up and it still works seemingly fine.
since its working does that mean theres no damage or effect? or did this lower its life span?
