In PoA, after Sirius snuck into the castle and slashed the portrait of the Fat Lady, Filch searched the dungeons by himself. This dude is a squib, and he's walking around looking for an insane mass murderer.

In DH when first talking about the horcruxes while in Ron's room, Hermione says that

"While the magical container is still intact, the bit of soul inside it can flit in and out of someone if they get too close to the object. I don't mean holding it for too long, it's nothing to do with touching it," she added before Ron could speak. "I mean close emotionally. Ginny poured her heart out into that diary, she made herself incredibly vulnerable. You're in trouble if you get too fond of or dependant on the Horcrux."

But then later, whoever is wearing the locket at the moment feels worse than the two not wearing it. Wouldn't it continue 'working on' the person most vulnerable to it?

I've got arthritis and other issues. So I still have a waterbed. I accidentally popped the one I have yesterday. Does anyone know anywhere in the Chicagoland area to get a new one instead of buying online?

It breaks my heart to post this as I've been a customer of Sid's for over a decade. I was there today and the discounts are incredible. As always, their customer service is top notch even as these folks are losing their jobs. I think that they're still doing online sales as well but don't quote me on that.
