I picked these up at a goodwill for about 2 bucks. Not sure what the brand is, but I saw "Made in Japan" and got curious! Any help identifying Make and style would be crazy helpful! Tried using Google lens to identify, but no luck.
Found this dude in crazy good condition yesterday at the bins! Really the only place I can find vintage for a great deal these days.
So, I'm not sure if others like this type of thing. But I've always been into the store vinyl display atheistic. Well on my way to work this morning, I passed by Guitar Center and found 2 of these out by the dumpster. I was stoked!
So I found about 60 bags of the old Burger King toys at my local thrift store yesterday, 4 figures in each bag, $1.99 each. I got crazy excited. At the same time a young fan in her 20s was also going ape shit over them. So we teamed up and searched each bag to try to put together complete sets. Sadly, we couldn't make 1 complete set, let alone 2. Seems like someone dumped all their extras and kept the bigger dogs like Frodo, gandalf, and such. I put a picture of the ones we found crossed out.
A little side question. The last photo is of 2 Merry's I found. One with blonde hair (which was normal) and one with brown. Has anyone seen this?
Does anyone know much about this LARP? I'm looking to try it out. But the lack of produced media and pictures makes me a little concerned for if it's a decent fit. I've read over their website and scanned through FB, but really not much about size and costume level. I guess I'm just trying to get a vibe check and maybe an understanding on how many people actually attend this event and how large it is. Hello! Just wanted to share my set up. In all, it cost 15 bucks (which was for the Audio Technica Turntable). The stereo amps and Denon turntable came from a trash pile last year. And the speakers came from a free military thrift store back in 2014. Been lugging them around the country since then. Break down below.

Nothing been hooked up and/or powered on yet. I know the Denon will have to have it capacitors replaced and a fresh needle. So I'll be using the Audio Technica until then. I guess is there anything else I should look out for before powering it up?
As the title says. Bought these off of vibes from the cover art at the thrift store tonight. I'm usually a little more selective in what I buy and haven't listened to any of them yet. But what do you all think? What kind of ride am I in for?
I see a lot of posts asking how to move vinyl. I've found that the small boxes from U-Haul work a treat!
