This guy is 17 years old today.

Thousands of hours of gaming and still no issues. Best $50 in 2009 ever spent.

Trying to find old viral PG tips video.

I swear on my life I remember a video it must be 20 years old at this point. It was an old geezer going on about “fookin PG Tips” is the only tea he drinks or something along those lines. Anybody happen to know if this happened? Im not even British. Just figured this was the best place to ask. Could have been another tea too im not sure.

These times of disc golf felt like a gift.

I was introduced to disc golf by a friend in 2020. From my first shitty throw I was hooked. We met so many people and played so many times together. It really felt electric. It helped to be a Rock Hill, SC local and have access to some legendary courses too. I personally think this was around the time disc golf peaked.

It brought everyone together.

I would like to remind everyone out there to know what the core of this sport is built on. Whether you disagree with a call or not it’s disgusting to bully a player like what is happening now to Goose. Ive seen people plotting to go to events just to boo him, mocking him by writing stupid shit on his disc, etc. Stop the childish BS and learn that kindness above all is key. It doesn’t matter what someone else did that you don’t agree with. As a human being we need to be kind.

I honestly think this is a lot of the newer gen z crowd perpetuating this nonsense. I would advise you to go meditate, and think about what kind of energy you are putting out there in the world.

Lest we forget the whole point of disc golf. Fun.

I found this interesting collection today.

I live in Greece. I stopped at the local nerd shop. They had 30 cases of this “First Partner” series 3 in stock. 30 Euros a box. I said what the hell and got a single box. I got the 3 I wanted. It takes me back to my sapphire days! Also got my chase card from chaos rising. I guess it’s a win for 30 bucks. Maybe a little on the high side, but idk really what the set goes for.

American salaries are insane.

It’s been a shite time for me. I am laid off for a year now. I have a low salary expectation. Im happy with 100k a year as a software engineer. No matter which small company I apply for the recruiters laugh when I say 100k with 5 YOE. They are all minimum 150k starting. This seems insane for any job to me. They are offering full relocation benefits, bonuses etc. It’s not uncommon for 200k - 270k.

Anyone else find this ludicrous? If anyone here is making 200k how tf does that feel?

What kind of black magic did he have?

I had the jump on this dude. Popped him for 115 then immediately for 135. That equals 250. That's an elim. Wtf happened?

Why did Killian never own up?

Dude would be a grade A politician. When confronted about something he clearly did wrong with proof he somehow weasels himself out of it. I kept waiting the whole show for him to actually be like you know what I allowed that group chat to happen and I did say what I said. Then all he had to say to Ashleys dad is “yes I will care for her and protect her”. He was not willing to say that either. I feel like they scripted him to be so annoyingly dismissive.

Just a lesson to men from my own experience. Admit your fault immediately, apologize, and deal with the repercussions. It will save you so much heart ache, and wasted time.

Vitamin C deficiency

For the past year I have been to every doctor, to try to explain my weird symptoms. All of them suggested I just had anxiety/stress. I was having a lot of dizziness & lightheadedness. Many episodes of derealization, and fatigue. It was crippling. One day I was on a walk with my wife and I felt that I was having heart attack symptoms. My jaw locked up, dizziness started, and my wife took me into the pharmacy. They took my blood pressure, it was a little high. Out of complete randomness the pharmacy tech told me to take some vitamin C. I got a full cardiologist exam, everything with my heart was great. After the exams I started taking the vitamin C. It’s been 2 weeks and I noticed a significant improvement. I don’t have episodes at all or for very long as long as I am taking C. Anyone else experience this? I wonder if a potential lack of vitamin C caused an absorption issue or another deficiency. I am really happy because otherwise I would have never known!
