[mod] 12 hour charity stream aftermath
Thank you so much to everyone who played a part in the stream, and thank you to everyone who donated!
We were able to raise $2,171.27 which was over double of our initial $1k goal, plus its the most we've ever raised on a charity stream in our community!
A super DUPER special thank you to googie who donated $800 and zeluka and Ash who both donated $407.80
This was the first stream I ever did and it was an awesome experience, thank you again to everyone who participated or watched the stream!!
TYSM TO EVERYONE!
Lots of love, The Event Team <3
[mod] 12 hour charity stream!
I'm excited to announce that we will be doing a 12 hour charity livestream! We're raising money for a familiar organization that we've had charity streams for before, the trevor project!
For those of you that don't know what the trevor project is here's a quick summary of what they do: The Trevor Project is a non-profit group that provides 24/7 crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ young people.
The stream will start at Sunday, August 2, 2026 9:00 AM EST and end at Sunday, August 2, 2026 9:00 PM EST.
During these 12 hours we will be streaming games and having fun and you guys will be able to participate with us!
Any donation is greatly appreciated no matter the size, anyone who donates will receive a donator role on the discord and the TOP donator will receive a permanent special colored role that can be any color of your choice (within reason)
As the stream goes and we hit donation goals there will be certain challenges or things that Ill have to do, like drinking pickle juice (I hate pickles) the ice bucket challenge and other things!
You can follow us at https://www.twitch.tv/r_teenagers so you don't miss the stream!
See you there!
Love,
r/teenagers mod team <3

To the people who send countless amounts of suicidal posts on here, first off we want to make it clear that your voice matters and we care for your well being. Does my PC need a new CPU before a new GPU?
Hey!
I was thinking about getting a new GPU but I'm worried that my CPU might bottleneck, I currently have a ryzen 9 5900x 12-core processor, and my GPU is an RTX 3060. I was thinking of upgrading to something like a 5060 ti but I don't know if my CPU needs upgrading first, and if it does then I'd have to get a new motherboard which then comes with new ram and we know how that market looks right now.
Here's all my specs:
Ryzen 9 5900X
RTX 3060
32gb DDR4
750 Watt PS
Also my monitor is 165hz 1080p, I don't typically play games on crazy high settings cause for competitive games I like getting as much fps as possible.
