Free CC0 HDRIs for Unreal Engine 5 — May collection now public

Hey everyone,

I just made the May HDRI collection on CGEES.COM publicly available for free.

This release includes 7 CC0 HDRIs captured in different outdoor and indoor locations. They can be useful for UE5 lighting setups, environment lookdev, product previews, archviz scenes, cinematic shots, and general scene testing.

Included in this release:

Meadow Among Oak Trees
Bright Evening Gravel Path
Old Broken Tree
Historic Cloister Passage
Cobblestone Parish Road Langenzenn
Aged Bedroom Interior
Lived-In Attic Space

The pack has a mix of natural environments, historic stone architecture, and indoor spaces, so it should be useful for different kinds of Unreal Engine projects — from realistic exterior lighting to moodier interior scenes.

Everything is released under CC0, so you can use the HDRIs freely in personal and commercial projects.

The May Early Access period is now over, which means these HDRIs are public for everyone. The June HDRIs are now moving into Early Access.

You can find them here:
https://www.cgees.com

I’m building CGEES as a small independent HDRI/resource site, so feedback from Unreal Engine artists and developers would be really helpful.
If the HDRIs are useful to you, support is always appreciated — a coffee, Patreon support, or simply sharing the site all helps keep the project going. No pressure.

Hope they’re useful for your UE5 scenes, lighting tests, renders, cinematics, and maybe even some cursed little game environments. 😄

Free CC0 HDRIs for archviz — May collection now available

Hey everyone,

The set should work nicely for exterior lighting, interior scenes, material previews, product shots, concept renders, and general lookdev in tools like Blender, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, Unreal Engine, and similar workflows.

Everything is released under CC0, so you can use the HDRIs freely in personal and commercial projects.

The May Early Access period is now over, which means this pack is public for everyone. The June HDRIs are now moving into Early Access.

4 new screenshots from my first-person horror card game Desecrated Deck

Hey everyone,

I’m working on Desecrated Deck, a first-person horror card game built in Unreal Engine 5.

I just added 4 new screenshots showing more of the ritual atmosphere, cursed cards, candlelit environments, and the unsettling presence you are forced to play against.

The game is set around an occult ritual where every card can change the match. Some choices may help you survive, while others drag you deeper into the ritual.

Would love to hear what you think about the atmosphere and visual direction.

Thank you!

4 new screenshots from my UE5 horror card game Desecrated Deck

Hey everyone,

I’m working on Desecrated Deck, a first-person horror card game built in Unreal Engine 5.

The game mixes occult card mechanics, ritual horror, candlelit environments, and a dark first-person atmosphere. I just added 4 new screenshots and wanted to share the current visual state of the project.

Most of the mood comes from UE5 lighting, shadows, post process, and a lot of creepy little scene details.

Steam page / wishlist:

Would love to hear what you think about the atmosphere and presentation!

Have you heard of Desecrated Deck?

Hey creepy gaming folks,

I’m working on Desecrated Deck, a first-person horror card game where you’re trapped in a ritual and forced to play against something that probably shouldn’t be sitting across from you.

It mixes occult horror, cursed cards, unsettling atmosphere, and a bit of “why did I agree to this?” energy.

I just added 4 new screenshots and wanted to share the current mood of the game.

Steam page / wishlist:

Would love to hear if the vibe feels creepy enough.
