Surprised how beginner friendly BG3 is

I made a post a while back asking for advice on buying the game. The community here is so welcoming and this is mostly an appreciation post and hopefully inspiration for potential buyers or new players like me.

I bought the game after asking about it here, and I must say, people are so right about the difficulty of the game. I havent finished my first run yet, but it has been one of the best games I've played to date. It's brought such a huge joy to me personally. BG3 is so well developed and the DnD aspect is not at all an issue as it seemed initially. The game has such fantastic guidance for new players and im so happy I spent the money buying it 🤍

I find myself just mesmerised by the graphics, controls and effort put into the game, and obviously the VOICE ACTING, which is what initially piqued my interest. I cant wait to play more and interact with the community, and hopefully find someone to try multiplayer with when ive done a few runs.

To anyone wanting to buy the game, I highly recommend going for it! And staying away from mods until you finished at least one playthrough, I need to stop making that mistake with games 😭

I have medium light brown hair that reaches my lower back and has no layers, just straight cut. I have short wispy side pieces and super light bangs that go straight across my forehead. My scalp is pretty sensitive but id love to do this type of colouration, is it possible to do at home without bleach or a super light concentration of it? All the salons that do these kinds of things in my area are like 200 bucks.

The first pic looks cool for the bangs especially and the second photo would look cool with more of my natural hair colour on top and a only bit of light hair hidden inside. Might add a raccoon tail somewhere hidden inside too!

I've been eyeing up BG3 since it's release, only in the past year have I really been interested, and the past few weeks I've had the strong urge to just buy the game and play it.

The problem is I dont think I've played similar games and especially know very little about DnD style games if anything.

Ive dabbled in one or two RPG fighting games but I think BG3 is a bit different from what I've seen or played. It looks beautifully made and I've heard the voice acting in it which is what originally grabbed my attention, it sounds so good!

It just looks very difficult to play/ learn, which i dont mind but I dont want to be completely lost playing something I have so many expectations for.

I have given myself two weeks to think about it until I decide to get it or not, or i might wait for the steam sale to get it so I have plenty of time to think it over.

So what should I know before getting it? Sell me on whether I should or shouldn't get it!
