Im in the process of purchasing a food trailer from England, the company wont 0% VAT so i will have to pay uk VAT. Which is not a problem. Thing is will I be charged VAT(Irish) again going through Holyhead/ Dublin port. Or how do I avoid it?

Im currently in the process of applying for VAT registration and it is sitting at level 1 appraisal for the last 2/3 weeks

So I've registered my business with CRO. registered for income tax as a soletrader on myaccount. How do I register for VAT now? Can this be done on myaccount or will I need to go through the process on ROS business?
