Help with Prius in Pensacola, Fl
My dad has “fried” my mother’s 2014 Prius C and they are looking for a reputable place to get it diagnosed and treated. Backstory:
Mom’s car has 150k miles on it, needs a head gasket and my dad parked it in the garage while they were away for two weeks. He came back and realized that the car’s battery was dead and it tested poorly so he bought one from Walmart that “should fit,” but on trying to fit it he realized it was the wrong battery. Instead of taking the battery back and getting the proper one he decided to just switch the battery poles from the side to the top and he thinks that after he did this he hooked the connections backwards. Now the car has power to some accessories, but that’s it. Im not on that side of the country and can’t help so if someone has a good shop they recommend I’d greatly appreciate it! I’ve heard Fils is a decent place to go and they advertise hybrids as a service.
