Overnight masks - am I missing something?
Hi everyone!
I need some reality-checking on sleeping masks/ sleeping packs.
I am notoriously bad at sheet masks. I always remember that I should to use one when it's super late and I'm tired, so I end up skipping it completely. I tried those overnight hydrogel masks, but I just cannot sleep in them.
So when I found out cream-based sleeping masks exist, I thought I found the perfect solution. I picked up the two from the photo.
After testing both, I'm feeling a bit underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, they both feel nice and act as decent heavy moisturizers, but... they don't really do anything. When you peel off a good sheet mask, you instantly get that plump, bright "wow". With these, I just wake up feeling like I put on a thick night cream.
My questions is: are all cream-style sleeping packs essentially just rich moisturizers, or are they supposed to give visible results? Is there a HG overnight mask out there that actually delivers by morning?
