PSA: Scott’s would like for you to walk faster
It’s that time where we see the obligatory Scott’s spreader sucks. Is it made cheaper? Of course it is. Not all of use have 150$ to blow on a spreader you use 5 times a year. My $10 used Scott’s mini has been fantastic with zero issues regarding lines or spread pattern. Why? Because I walk faster.
If you have a Scott’s spreader, walk faster.

First quote on Hybrid Premium, what’s a fair price?
Since OTD isn’t really accurate as this changes by state, I was offered the 2026 CX-50 hybrid premium in polymetal gray for 36.3k. OTD is around 38.8k. Is this realistically a good number? I want to know how much more I have to work with.
Side note, wife really loves this car so I’m shooting for this vehicle. Thanks!
