Need guidance

Hi everyone,

I have a few questions regarding Infosys:

Is there any bond or minimum service agreement (for example, 1 year) for freshers joining Infosys?

My role is DSE (Digital Specialist Engineer). Is there a possibility that I could be assigned to a testing role instead of a development role?

How does the bench period work at Infosys, and how long do people usually stay on the bench?

I’m also quite confused about whether I should prioritize joining Infosys over my current job. If anyone has been in a similar situation or has insights, I’d really appreciate your advice.

Thanks in advance!

Dsp offer Infosys

Serious question please help me with this.

I’m currently working at a startup and I’m expected to get converted to a full-time employee on 1st July 2026. If I resign from my current company, I have to serve a 2-month notice period (only if I resign after 1st July).

At the same time, my Infosys offer letter mentions a joining date of 20th July.

My concern is: should I resign before 1st July to be safe, assuming Infosys will definitely onboard me on 20th July? Or is there still a possibility that the joining date could get delayed or changed?

I’m trying to understand the risk before making a decision, since resigning early without a confirmed onboarding could leave me in a difficult situation.

What would you suggest?

DSE Offer letter

I received my Infosys Digital Specialist Engineer (DSE) offer letter yesterday, with a joining date of 20 July 2026 and Mysore as the training location.

However, I have a concern. A friend told me that Infosys may require the final degree marksheet during onboarding. Currently, I do not have my degree marksheet, and since I am from AKTU, it may not be issued until next year. Even the provisional degree certificate is expected to be available only around August or September.

At present, I am working at a startup. Given this situation, should I resign now based on the offer, or should I wait until I get clarity regarding the degree documents and onboarding requirements?
