I've been really enjoying bands like Tears of Avarel, Father Figure and Mahria recently. What other bands have that Emoviolence brutality and harshness combined with some melodic bits?

I had just recovered from the flu and was pushing myself with gutturals. I have good technique for high/mid vocals so this was more of a one time event. The night of the incident I pushed through an uncomfortable feeling of a lump in my throat. The morning after, it felt more uncomfortable but not painful so I kept talking at my regular (loud) volume for the next 3 days. As this happened, symptoms of hoarseness, soreness, and a strange feeling on the left side of my throat started. Additionally, I've had a bunch of acid reflux trigger as well, although I am more genetically prone to it. I also burp everytime i drink liquid which is kinda funny but a little concerning too. Now I have mostly lost my voice and as a result, have not been talking at all for the past 2 days to try and fix it.
Does it seem like I really cooked myself (maybe vocal polyps?) or could this be regular vocal strain i can fix with silence. Ik seeing the doctor is the most sure option, but due to scheduling issues, that's gonna be my lasy resort if things dont clear up on their own.
