Samsung MultiXpress 4300LX - ADF scans come out completely black. Any ideas?

I'm having an issue with my Samsung MultiXpress 4300LX.

When I place documents on the scanner glass and scan them, the scans appear normal. However, when I scan through the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), the resulting files on my computer are completely black pages.

Things I've checked:

  • Printer is otherwise functioning normally
  • Issue only occurs when using the ADF
  • Scans from the flatbed glass are fine
  • Problem occurs regardless of the document being scanned

Has anyone encountered this before?

Any troubleshooting steps or repair advice would be greatly appreciated as Servicing is not an option here. Service providers are unable to provide any help as the printer is more than 10 years old.

Thanks!

Fair Price for a SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod Ultegra Di2 Build?

Looking for some opinions on whether this bike is worth it at around SGD 6,000 (~USD 4,600).

Seller claims it's in mint condition.

Build Specs:

  • Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod Disc (54cm, Smoke Black)
  • Cannondale SystemBar R-One MOMO Design cockpit (400x90mm)
  • Full Shimano Ultegra R8150 Di2 12-speed groupset
  • Ultegra FC-R8100 crankset, 170mm, 52/36T
  • Ultegra 11-30T cassette
  • HUNT 50 Carbon Wide Aero wheelset
  • Pirelli P Zero Race RS 700x28c tyres (freshly upgraded)
  • Dura-Ace/XTR CN-M9100 chain
  • Ultegra SPD-SL pedals
  • Selle San Marco Shortfit 2.0 Open-Fit Carbon FX Narrow saddle
  • Shimano RT-CL800 rotors (160/140)
  • Absolute Black chain catcher

For context, I'm also considering a Merida Reacto with Ultegra Di2 at a similar price point, so I'm trying to figure out which offers better value.

Any better-value aero road bike than this at S$6k / ~US$4.7k?

Hi everyone, I’m looking at getting a **Merida Reacto 8000 2027** for around **S$6,000**, which is approximately **US$4,670–4,700.**

I’m based in Singapore and wanted to ask if anyone knows of any bike that offers better value at this price point.

The specs seem quite strong for the money:
Merida Reacto CF3 V carbon aero frame
Merida Reacto CF3 V Disc fork
Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed groupset
Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes
Shimano CL800 rotors
Vision Metron 5D ACR EVO integrated handlebar/stem
Reynolds AR 60 DB carbon wheelset
Continental GP5000 S TR tyres
Prologo Scratch M5 saddle
I’m mainly comparing based on overall value, including frame quality, groupset, wheels, cockpit, tyres, and how much I would realistically need to upgrade after buying.

At **S$6k / \~US$4.7k**, this seems like a pretty complete build already, especially with Ultegra Di2, carbon wheels, GP5000 S TR tyres, and an integrated cockpit included.

Does anyone know of any other aero road bike around this price that gives better value? Open to brands like Giant, Canyon, Polygon, Specialized, Trek, Scott, Cervélo, or anything else available in Singapore.

Would appreciate any thoughts, especially from people who have owned or ridden the Reacto.

2027 Merida Reacto 6000 vs 8000 - Is Ultegra Di2 worth the extra ~$780?

Trying to decide between the 2027 Merida Reacto 6000 vs Reacto 8000 and would appreciate opinions from people who have experience with Shimano 105 Di2 vs Ultegra Di2 bikes.

The price difference where I am is about S$1k (~US$780).

From what I can tell, both bikes share the exact same:

  • Reacto CF3 V frame
  • Fork
  • Geometry
  • Carbon aero platform

Main differences seem to be:

Reacto 6000:

  • Full Shimano 105 Di2
  • Vision SC60 carbon wheels
  • Merida integrated cockpit
  • Continental Grand Prix TR tyres

Reacto 8000:

  • Full Shimano Ultegra Di2
  • Reynolds AR60 wheels
  • Vision Metron 5D ACR EVO cockpit
  • GP5000S TR tyres
  • Slightly higher-end finishing kit overall

So essentially:

  • Same frame
  • Same aero platform
  • Same wheel depth
  • Mostly component upgrades

For riders who have owned or ridden similar-level bikes:

  • Is Ultegra Di2 actually noticeably better than 105 Di2 in real-world riding?
  • Is the Vision Metron cockpit a meaningful upgrade or mostly aesthetics?
  • Which wheelset would you rather have?
  • Would you save the money and go for the 6000?
  • Or is the 8000 the smarter “buy once cry once” purchase?

I ride recreationally now but want something fast that I can grow into long term. Potentially longer rides and triathlons in future too.

Would appreciate honest opinions from people who’ve ridden both tiers of bikes.
