Southeastern Pennsylvania, today (Oct 3), right near a river. Almost ran this guy over on a bike path, so I moved him to a safer spot, and snapped some pictures before I did. I can’t figure out if he’s some sort of slider, and if so which kind, or something else! Thanks in advance for any help!

This is Lake Wallenpaupack, northeast Pennsylvania. As you can see, we are very close to a tree-lined shore. Taken today, September 6th 2026. Mostly dark colored from what I can see in flight. Has a whiter belly. I’m thinking an Eastern Wood Pewee but I’m not at all sure since I’ve never seen one. I’m also not sure that those birds fly for long over water.
I thought of swallows first but it doesn’t look like any swallow I know. Any help is appreciated, thank you!!
I’ve looked this up and seen that I could be watering too much, too little, too much sun, root rot, etc. This plant was doing great just a few weeks ago, and I’ve had it in the same place in my apartment for the past 1.5 years, only now is it looking sick. It gets bright indirect light, but it is never in direct sunlight. I water about every week or so. Really I just water it when the leaves start to get slightly droopy, which has always been fine. It does sit about 8ft from the AC vent, but again, has never been a problem until 2 weeks ago. We do have those small gnats around the apartment but have lots of traps that keep them under control.
Do I just need to repot in better soil?
I have Verizon for my cell provider and I have an iPhone 15. I get good reception in my area, but my workplace is a total dead zone as far as any internet connection goes. I can’t access the internet on my phone inside my workplace at all, and I can’t send or receive iMessages at all. I also can’t send or receive RCS messages at all. But I CAN send and receive SMS messages. Once I start sending texts as SMS to my partner, sometimes my phone gets “stuck” in SMS mode even after I leave work.
For example, it’s now been 4 hours since I left work and my phone says I have 5G reception AND I have wifi at home. I tried putting it in airplane mode and taking it out, also tried restarting, but still I can only send SMS texts to my partner. Wifi is working just fine and I can get on the internet and everything like that. iMessage is enabled in settings. I’m also able to send iMessages to other people, just not my partner.
It happens probably about once a month. Does anyone know how to fix this?
