Veteran Gamers

Posting to hopefully help my husband. I did a search and unless I’m mistaken I didn’t see recent posts for this.

He’s a Marine, 36 , 0331 and did two deployments. I don’t play, but he’s mentioned how he wishes he could find a good group of guys who also served to play the game with. Right now his main game of choice is ARC raiders and he prefers pvp.

He doesn’t do social media and just started using discord so he’s still figuring that all out.

I don’t know if this is the place to go, I'm just trying to help him find community and have more enjoyment out of his free time playing.

LFG Military - Veterans - ARC Raiders

Posting to hopefully help my husband. He’s a marine, 36, 0331 and did two deployments. He doesn’t do social media and just started using discord so he’s still figuring that all out.

I don’t know if this is the place go but the main ARC page doesn’t allow LFG on the main page and there’s not much traction on the megathread there.

Best Pet?

In the search for the best pet that enjoys being interacted with and held but ideally can learn to talk to too? Was looking into ringneck parakeet and this breeder made this comment. Any insight or good recommendations?

Life Insurance 100% P&T

My husband and I have been having the hardest time getting life insurance for him. I got a good amount for myself so he’s okay with our children in the worst case scenario. It’s been impossible to find something for my husband. He’s 100% p&T and other than the VA life insurance that costs a lot and offers little, no one will accept him. He’s a marine corps combat veteran with two tours. Most of his rating is ptsd. His back is the next biggest. Then sciatica in both legs. But he smokes weed as pain management instead of prescription meds. There’s a huge family addiction issue on his side and his dad passed from it so he won’t touch it. No other meds he’s on. And the ptsd and weed use is the “deciding factor” on getting denied. Anyone have any advice on a good company that would likely accept him?
