Opinions Needed!

I am based in Australia, and we are planning a (partly) destination wedding in Penang, Malaysia where I am from. We will be booking out a boutique hotel for 3 days 2 night, we will have 60 guests max, with a huge portion of that coming from out of town/overseas, therefore will be staying at the venue, which we are providing. I want guests experience to be the centre of my wedding. I really want an intimate and fun celebration with my friends and family. I would love opinions on people who have had destination weddings or people who have been attendees.

What was one amazing thing that stuck with you from the wedding, or one thing you did that stayed with you most, and guest couldn't stop raving about? It can be anything.

Just wanting ideas to enhance guests experience, and plan this wedding in a way where we prioritise spending time and making true unforgettable memories with our family and friends. Thank you!

Wedding Venue/Budget

Hi all, i am planning to host my wedding in Penang in 2028. We are just in the beginning stages of planning, so looking for some wedding venue suggestions, would love to hear venues you have hosted/attended a wedding and loved. Would also love to hear how much you spent, just to help with budgeting.

Life Expectancy for 82 year old without dialysis

My grandad has stage 5 kidney failure. He has decided to not go ahead of dialysis due to his age and quality of life, which we really respect, therefore will be in palliative care. I live in Australia, and he lives in Malaysia, and i am due to visit in about 7 weeks. I understand that life expectancy varies at this stage, but I am trying to decide if waiting 7 weeks is a good idea, or if i should go sooner, as there are work and financial constraints. Any input would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!
