New Bike Day

New Bike Day

Recently I made the decision to get into biking as it is a low impact sport that may be a better fit for me than running half marathon distances.

I’ve really come to learn that the biking community is similar to running the community and I think that’s awesome.

My initial goal is to train for a Triathlon. I haven’t decided on a length yet but for my first a Sprint or Olympic will probably be where I start.

Not knowing anything about cycling, and wanting to reduce the barrier of entry I started researching YouTube and came across the legendary Ozark G1 explorer!

I couldn’t find any used models on marketplace or Craigslist but thought for $288 if I decide that biking isn’t for me I can still gift it to my son.

Well today is new bike day and God blessed me with a steal. My local Walmart had it on clearance 33%. I think it’s a sign that I needed to pull the trigger and take a swing at doing something different.

I’m waiting on my bike pump to be delivered and I’m going to take it for a spin!

Ran a 7k today!

Hello everyone, I’ve been training for this half marathon for over a year! I saw my sister run the Boulderthon last September and it motivated me to get off of my big but and get active.

Over the past year I have ran some 5k’s, 10k’s, 10 miler and this morning completed a 7k.

Now that I’m three weeks out I have hit a wall! I’ve asked myself why did I sign myself up for this. I have put in the work while still managing a family and work. Over the last 8 weeks I’ve cut 15lbs which I feel like after today has helped me by 15-20% more effort without feeling the effort. For example today my HR was 185, it normally doesn’t go that high on my runs, but it didn’t bother as much as I thought it would.

The weight loss has come from smaller portions and better choices. A snack now for me is tuna with crackers instead of chips. I’ve really prioritized protein, ensuring that I atleast get 120-150grams a day. I know I should be getting more than that! Atleast 200 grams.

I say all of that to say that I’m in the last month of training. This training block will be 16 weeks long. I’ve battled injuries, motivation, cold snowy morning, my treadmill breaking down on me. And the day is almost here.

I saw Bryson and here’s the proof.

Hello everyone. I saw Bryson. It was a cool concert. I’m a huge fan of him so of course the music was banging. The amount of singing he did was questionable. Ty Dolla was amazing as always. If you’re thinking about catching the tour I’ve put a quick little video together for you to check out of my experience.

Fresh drop!

Got my latest shipment in the mail! The only flavor I’ve tried. I was looking for the strongest blend. Any suggestions?

Reminder to DRAM holders

Good morning and Happy Sunday! I see all of the FUD and Shook babies hanging out with the weak hands and shaking hands with the paper hands.

I just wanted to stop by and remind all of the DRAM holders ONE thing. The hyper scalers have reported. Some increased capex, some reiterated their capex spending. If your down, then average down. In a couple of months I think DRAM will be worth more than it is right now.

Based on this past weeks earnings calls from hyper scalers I think there will be strong capex spending through atleast FY28. Our Macro environment is a little shaky. One positive headline about that and we’re off to the races again!

The KOSPI has sold off, the leverage was shook out. Ken Griffen bought the books! I’d happily own DRAM at $50 a share.

I’d love to hear your perspective!

Crypto Winter or Done

I’m reading all of the FUD. EVERYWHERE. And I want to start this rant off with, THATS WHY YOU INVEST WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. I am a BTC holder and ETF holder. If this drops more I’ll eventually be a MSTR holder.

My question is are we in a crypto winter or is this the grand finale? I thought it was understood that BTC operates in a 4yr cycle? Well, technically, isn’t that where we are now?

However, there’s a lot of people talking about how crypto is done. I’m hearing Institutions are involved so it’s manipulated. Or the US government has gone after all of the people who used crypto for bad so now all of those corrupt contributors are scared.

What ever the case is. A decision has to be made. If you are anything like me, you are probably down in your position. If your anything like me you got into BTC because of the foundation of sovereign money, giving the power back to the people, my keys my bitcoin. And if that’s you, then hold on. This is no different from the previous 4 yr cycles. Why sell now? I’m down 40%. I thought 60k was support so I DCA’d. Oh well broke support? Ok once we get to the next level of support DCA some more.

Rant Done. Invest what you can afford to lose. Sorry for any grammatical errors.
