Hi,

I am planning to apply for the Engineering Mathematics and Computational Sciences Master's at Chalmers, and my Pure Math subjects only converts to around 32 ECTS when the requirements is 37.5 ECTS. I graduated with Bachelor in Civil engineering. I even saw that some of the electives and focus subjects were related to some of my major subjects and engineering sciences in the undergaduate studies. Are they strict when it comes to that ECTS requirement? I am asking so that I may opt to prioritize other programs in the ranking list once the application opens.

I am a senior analytics consultant from Philippines and currently looking to live and work in the Netherlands next year through student pathway. I have 4.5 years experience as analytics professional and would like to get a Masters in Business analytics at an applied science school since this is the more affordable option for me. With 4 years of experience, will the Dutch job market consider my experience valuable, besides the masters degree from an HBO? My goal is to get that orientation year visa, and land a job in The Netherlands. I have been working for a multi national company based in The Netherlands for few years now, although I'm not able to transfer internally within my company due to work permit issues, as they prefer someone already with a work permit there. Any insight is appreciated.
