[OC] "The Weight of the Blade" — taiko, traditional Japanese strings, dark ambient textures | Ghost of Tsushima inspired

Started with a question: what does stillness sound like when it's about to break? Built around slow taiko strikes with a lot of air between them — the silence after each hit does as much work as the hit itself. Under that, a static drone from traditional string textures that barely moves harmonically. The restraint is intentional. Inspired by Ghost of Tsushima's atmosphere — specifically the tension the game builds before combat, not the combat itself. Wanted to live in that breath-holding moment rather than resolve it. Curious what this subreddit hears in the space between the notes.

[OC] Feudal Japan cinematic — generated with Kling 3.0 on Runway | Ghost of Tsushima inspired atmosphere

Built a full standalone samurai atmosphere using Kling 3.0 through Runway. Wanted to capture Ghost of Tsushima's visual language — ink-wash shadows, fog over still water, golden grass in slow wind. No reference footage, no rotoscoping. Pure generation. Prompting direction: slow cinematic camera drift, feudal Japan environment, overcast natural light, desaturated with warm highlights, grain texture. The hardest part was keeping motion natural — Kling handles slow organic movement (grass, fabric, mist) really well at this setting. Music is also AI-generated to match the visual mood.

[OC] Hardened Perimeter - Building a Cyberpunk Game Atmosphere with 100% AI Audio & Visuals

Hey everyone! For my project VOXELUM, I'm generating standalone game atmospheres. This one is a tribute to the Cyberpunk genre.

I used Runway for the visuals to get those specific neon-industrial textures and slow, tense camera pans. The audio was generated to sync with the visual intensity. Would love to hear your thoughts on the production!

[OC] Earth In Our Sight - Original Sci-Fi Track & Visuals Inspired by Pragmata

Hey everyone! Like many of you, I've been waiting endlessly for Pragmata. To pass the time and keep the hype alive, I created an original instrumental track and some cinematic visuals for my project VOXELUM. I tried to capture that isolating, mysterious moon-to-Earth atmosphere we saw in the trailers. Would love to hear if it fits the vibe you are expecting from the game!

[OC] Saddle Against the Sun - Original Dark Western Track Inspired by RDR2

Hey everyone. I’m running a passion project called VOXELUM where I create original instrumental music and visual worlds inspired by the games that left a mark on me. This track is my tribute to the emotional depth and gritty landscapes of RDR2. I used weeping acoustic guitars and soaring crescendos to try and capture the feeling of a lone outlaw facing the end of an era. I’d love to know if this resonates with that Arthur Morgan feeling for you guys.

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on an original audio-visual project called VOXELUM, where each track is built around the specific atmosphere of a game world.

This piece is heavily inspired by Metro: Last Light. I wanted to capture that oppressive, melancholic, yet tense feeling of surviving in the underground tunnels. It relies on heavy industrial drones and a lonely acoustic guitar to reflect the isolation of the wasteland.

Here is the track if you want to listen: https://youtu.be/PGLDLbf5dZ8

I would really love to hear from Metro veterans—does this capture the vibe of Artyom's journey?

Been working on a cinematic music project where each track captures the atmosphere of a specific game world. This one draws from Underground 2: the tension of a midnight chase, rain-soaked streets, the hum of a tuned engine at 3 AM.

It's a fully original composition — not a cover or remix, just an attempt to sit in the same emotional space the game created. Here's the track if you're curious: https://youtu.be/-3edIhPOLsA

Would love to hear from people who actually lived in that world — does it capture the feeling?

Been working on an original cinematic music project where each track is

built around the atmosphere of a specific game world — not a cover or

remix, just a fully original composition inspired by the feeling of

being in that world.

This one draws from The Witcher 3: the heaviness of Velen's cursed

landscape, the tension of tracking something dangerous through fog,

the moral weight the game carries even in silence. Dark orchestral,

medieval folk elements, no vocals.

Here's the track if you're curious: https://youtu.be/i5EMyZJBzpQ

Would love to hear from people who know this game's atmosphere well —

does it land?

Been working on a cinematic game-inspired music project called VOXELUM. Each track is built around a different game world and atmosphere. This one is inspired by Red Dead Redemption 1 — the silence of the frontier, the weight of living as an outlaw, that bittersweet acoustic melancholy the game carries throughout. Fully original composition, not a cover of the OST. Here's the track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrII7rnGGqM Would love to hear from people who know this game's atmosphere.

Been working on an original audio-visual music project for a few months now. Each track is inspired by a different game world — Skyrim, Witcher 3, RDR2, MW3 and others — and paired with a cinematic visual.

Not trying to replicate the original OSTs, more like capturing the same feeling in an original composition.

Here's one if anyone's curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gycj03lEGOw

Open to feedback, genuinely want to know if this kind of content resonates with people who actually love game music.
