IMO alumni vs standard math majors: Where do they end up 10 years later?

I have been wondering about this, I am math major myself with not much exposure to Olympiad math before my undergrad, but I think these Olympiad guys who represent their country are the most smartest ones and most of them enter into quant or go for a phD in math.

But how much difference would be there in a normal guy doing a math major vs a IMO guy in there journey in long term in both academia or research/ industry ?

42 days and Nifty is trapped between 700 pts

From June 15 to July 23, Nifty has moved up 700 pts and then down 700 pts....and today at July 23 again we are the same place as we were on June 15... The market has remained flat for 42 trading days...

What you guys think of Nifty's direction in the long term ?

SBI Fund massive selling on the first day of listing

There is nothing to panic if you are holding longterm .. there is minimal profit booking and since it happened in the last hour (which is European market opening ) it is most likely foreign HNIs and NRIs booking profit on the listing gains on the first day of IPO

Otherwise the share has potential to grow in longterm

The 50 and 200 EMA ...manipulation

recently i was working on a strategy on nifty options monthy.... and i noticed something which was a bit shocking ...

so people use the 50 & 200 EMA for swing trades...but if you go on nifty and check out for when 50 ema crosses below the 200 ema..(which is a bearish signal ) then most traders rush to buy PE and short CE... but most of the times the market has reversed hunting there SLs....
