And they all lived happily ever after

After sixteen hours I finally united the world in happiness under Loji.

Stellaris mod when?

But yeah, I was actually planning on trying to play a chinese victory on taiwan game to see what thats like but I put the game on Veteran and ended up getting demolished in Taiwan, even though my marines landed. Just couldn't make any progress due to the supply situation.

Once our sights were turned on Europe, the frontline ended up utterly bogging down and due to some frontline problems, the situation was deteriorating. However, by that point, Africa was completely subjugated and the last pockets of Italian territory were captured, allowing the Marines that were sent to deal with that able to mass-deploy across Italy, Spain, and southern France. NATO responded too slowly to it, and ended up finally putting up resistance by the time that everything west of berlin was under Loji.

A few more landings on the United Kingdom, Greece, and behind Turkey, and Europe fell. Once that was wrapped up, all the other nations in the world were picked apart until we were at the doorstep of America.

Within two weeks, Chinese Marines were on the steps to the White House, and the comrades we once helped fight for independence was our final foe to unite the world.

Anyways, always fun to play this mod every now and then. Does anyone know if Central Processing Unit has anything special to do if you lose the Great Asian War? I couldn't find anything in the wiki, but I just assume its an empty fail state nation like the balkanized Russia.

Glorious 5 irl hour battle

(After action is at the end)

Tried out the Quick Start mod, and holy crap it was fun. I did 9,000 points, and while yes, it was... very laggy (Only an hour or two hours passed in game, I think? With 5 hours in real life while most of the time was at accelerated speed), it was absolutely worth it.

Enemy fleet group started launching salvo after salvo of hypersonic ASMs at me, but my four interception lines of aircraft nailed almost all of them, with only one impact striking the America class carrier and disabling her deck.

One of the strikes almost leaked eight missiles through, but with two prowlers circling overhead, they jammed them and almost all of them went into a merchant, with the last missile almost penetrating through the fleet and striking a missile cruiser, but was intercepted.

During the missile intercepts I had a few problems of the Phoenixes deciding to lock up the next flight group 30 nautical miles past the enemy missiles so there was a handful of friendly fire incidents, but all in all, I'm impressed with genuinely just how powerful air power is in this game.
(And also impressed by how bad CIWS is. There must've been six phalanxes engaging that one missile that hit the America carrier and it must've been engaged for like 20 seconds in total and it just slipped straight through.)

All in all, worth every second. I'm so glad I finally got around to giving this game a chance.

Has anyone noticed most games feel like one sided stomps

It just feels like the games ever since the new update have been an absolute stomp in either way. I’ve never seen a close win yet, it’s only ever 5-0, 15-0, 0-5, or 0-15, with some obvious give or take- but usually it feels decided by phase 1.

Has anyone else felt this way? I’ve even asked in all chat in a few matches and others agree. I’m around 1900-2000 elo, by the way.

Handful of Hara Vera Carrier Designs

Having completed the vanilla game, I decided to switch to Flight to Hara Vera and make some designs.

Carriers in order;

Morogov Fleet Carrier,
Strelok Fleet Carrier,
Stregoi Fleet Carrier
Ahrkiv Carrier-Frigate (Also has an LA-29 variant)
Mimir Carrier-Corvette
Lamia Armored Bomber-Carrier

Despite how massively asymmetrical the Strelok is, I really liked how it came out. Lots of the Hara Vera ship designs are pretty unique and unconventional, and making the large opened out spaces also helped to keep the ship's empty slots available.

*To those wondering about the extreme range of some of the ships or the amount of power consumption, Hara Vera includes a 'Nerva' engine which produces more thrust, takes very little fuel, but requires four full size generators to power each nerva.

For my next trick, I’ll make these Raiders CQC disappear!

Airborne Baltics honestly plays very nicely. I’ve got 6 HMG teams and 4 javelins + 2 weapon squads which I’ve now replaced with 4 Milans + 2 Weapon squads. I have 16 squads of line infantry and 8 squads of reservists, this is absolutely the life.

On a somewhat unrelated note, for some reason the timer for this match broke and just kinda stopped at phase 2.
