So, is Anduril a one-handed sword in the books?

Obviously in the Jackson films, it's a more high medieval style longsword/hand and a half sword.

But in the books, Aragorn pretty clearly wields a shield, right? It stands to reason to me, then, that Anduril would be something more in the realm of a one-handed broadsword or arming sword. To me, that fits more with the pseudo-Saxon setting Tolkien had in mind.

I don't believe The Professor goes into super great detail about Anduril apart from its general splendor, but has anyone else got information about this? Just curious.

[SIB] Space Marine 2 for $18 if I'm "meh" on 40k?

It's on a pretty deep Steam sale. I've dipped my toe into 40k (Rogue Trader, one of the Eisenhorn books by Dan Abnett) and I like some of it, but have never found myself "bought in" with respect to the setting. I'd say I "respect" 40k and Warhammer in general more than I "like" it.

That said, I've heard Space Marine 2 runs well, looks good, and has Left 4 Dead-esque gameplay (albeit 3rd-person), which I tend to like in a shooter. I've also heard it's short, but for a deep sale maybe that's fine.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Topic. Lifelong fantasy lit reader, but I'm pretty much brand new to this world otherwise. Seems like Sarah Hawke is highly regarded both for her writing and her spicier content.

As a corollary question, her website specifies that her earlier work is "erotica" some of which don't include "harem elements."

What exactly is the distinction between "erotica" and "harem" here? Just the size and role of the supporting cast? I was always under the impression that harem stories were a subset of erotica, but is there more of a distinction than that?

Apologies if these are remedial questions. Thanks in advance for any responses/recommendations.
