700r4 (or 4l60e) trouble 4-3 downshift

I have a Chevy K10 with a Certified Transmissions rebuilt 700r4/4l60e. I have put about 20,000 miles on it and then towed a 4Runner on a car trailer. Not knowing any better I used OD. After towing, the transmission shifts just fine, but once I start climbing a hill with the cruise set, it will try to downshift to 3rd but will make the truck shake and surge until I let off the throttle. The internet doesn’t give me a definite answer so I’m coming here!

84 Chevy K10 transmission swap

I have an 84 k10 with a rebuilt 350 and rebuilt 700r4(or repurposed 4l60e?) I am unsure what T-Case I have. however, I am considering converting over to a nv4500. I have been doing research but i am overwhelmed by all the info. Will a nv4500 fit in place of a 700r4/4l60e in my set up? what about cross members, bolt holes, bell housing, driveshaft fitments?

Front control arms advice

All the front control arm bushings on my ‘99 4Runner are needing to be replaced. I have several questions:

Has anyone used energy suspension bushings for these? how do they hold up?

Are Whiteline and OEM that much better?

In the interest of convenience, are there any affordable pre-assembled front control arms that anyone recommends that keeps everything stock?
