I work full time and usually keep charts up throughout the day - but I don't really have mental bandwidth at the end of the day to research, plan, and keep track of everything.

In my off time over the past year and a half I've been building a tech stack between my main rig (6800 XT) and mini PC (Ninkear) combining Frontier LLMs + Local LLMs to automate market info for actionable decisions based on my current goal or setup idea - I.E tracking the 1H / 4H trend on SPY + GLD (the equities I trade most).

My favorite scanner I've made so far is my "Sector Rotation Scanner" - tracks the performance of many equities compared to SPY / QQQ and factors in Vix, bond yields, etc. Though I mainly trade SPY / GLD, I often times will target single stocks in active sectors when SPY doesn't yield A+ Setups. I also built a news scanner to catch momentum plays (like FRMI in the attached pics).

This is a way to make it easy for me especially if I miss the morning stream I usually hop onto for market info. I've actually "inspired" a few others to make similar scanners / sector info lol.

I've been having a hard time gathering feedback, and I just saw another software Sunday posted here (didn't go well lol) - Thought this might be a good opportunity to hear from an outside perspective.

Recently launched my momentum based algo live 07/01/26 after meticulously backtesting (beginner me thought so) and forward testing for a full year

Starting small with size for the live test.

Stats:

2025-06-11 THROUGH 2026-06-27

- Against the S&P (SPY): The bot generated an excess return of +20.87%

- Against the Nasdaq (QQQ): The bot beat the tech index by +10.31%

- QQQ Max Drawdown: 11.96%

- Algo Max Drawdown: -10.30%

I'm working on new "more advanced" algorithms since I've learned quite a bit since I created this one

My question to long term algo traders:

Have you ever had to pull the plug on an algorithm a while AFTER it's been launched? I.E due to market regime change, something catastrophic, etc.

Do you revamp the algorithm and re launch?

Do you hold on to it and re-launch when conditions are right?

Finally got FRL working in Scenarios / Missions / Races / Etc.

Dialing in some of the math, scenario issues, and settings for users via UI app.

Hoping to have it published by Early to Mid July. I've been enjoying it throughout testing so far!

Almost got into a trade this morning as I saw a potential long entry and was green biased due to a call I'm holding but Between my SMB 4.0 ruleset, along with some automated info I set up - just sat on my hands and probably for the best lol.

Did any other momentum traders get trapped by today's reversal? On the flip side, any momentum traders capitalize on this? What confirmed entry for you?

Curious if MY ruleset is too strict at this current point and skewing data. I've been journaling for a while now and collecting data to improve upon

Also curious how we feel about the hourly higher low structure in regard to this fakeout Rally I'm a bit biased to the downside if we break 739.80 on SPY

Beamng is my go to over assetto. I also haven't played Forza in years - with the release of FH6 and being able to play on gamepass, I've been playing it and enjoying it!

I'm normally a "no racing line" kind of person but as of recent I've been using the "braking only" for the race line and it has helped a lot, especially with the arcade-ish physics that im not a huge fan of.

I could not find one already made or I did not look hard enough...

This is my first mod so it definitely needs some further work - it uses mostly reactive math + a little both of predictive math and bridges the two game engines to create a Forza race line like path. The goal is for it to work very smoothly and have the correct apexes for vanilla maps (will take some time) and work OK for non-vanilla maps.

What do you guys think?

For me personally, I plan on using this with the enhanced camera mod and just cruising around! Especially helpful if I'm pushing it hard and don't know the map super well as in my roughly 700hrs, I've only got about 2 maps memorized lol

I'm planning on posting to the repo + open sourcing it on GitHub after some further tweaking!

Going through some recent past data and found another interesting opportunity my Sector Rotation scanner caught.

05/22/26 if you bought SMH or XLK vs. SPY, not only did you have a few opportunities for good trades, you'd still be performing better than SPY the past 30d

My mistake was being inactive in markets as of recent and not taking action on this!

How do YOU track smart money or sector rotation flow? I use a mix of Fed funds rates, equities(30d performance), and automated reporting + my own TA.

How do YOU feel about SMH performance? Think we've got more room to go? Planning on adding to my CHPY position soon!
