Hi guys, i have a big vector drawing which i have to print in big format. I only have an A3 printer so i have to slice it into several pieces and then glue it later.

I've been trying to export those slices in a normal way for 2 hours and still couldn't find a way.
I tried with artboards withtout any success so i tried slices which, on paper, seems to be the perfect tool.
• if i create rectangles as guides and i transform them into slices (slice persona, right click, "create slice"), the exported slice has only the rectangle in it and nothing else. I couldn't find a way to tell affinity to export EVERTHING and not just the rectangle.
• if i create a new slice free-drawing it, it doesn't snap to anything! I have to type its dimension in the transform tab and i have to place it "more or less". So if i want to always have, let's say, 10mm overlapping, it's impossible to do it unless i go into the transform pannel and i type each freaking digit there.
• once i created a slice i can't even duplicate it. I literally have to create them one by one and type their dimensions one by one. I can't even see the size in mm but only in px.

I think this is the most cumbersome and stupid way to work with slices i've ever seen. Imagine if i have to create 30-40 slices. It would take me 5 hours of work.

Please tell me there is human way to do this. Thank you. 😅

I've playing guitar with a pick for many years but i stopped like 3-4y ago and i only played 4-strings guitars with finger picking since then. Recently i went back to guitar and i feel like i went from pro to noob overnight. On 4 strings it's almost impossible to pick the wrong strings of course but on guitar i'm often playing the wrong one. Sometimes i feel like my hand doesn't really know where it is.
Question is: how much of this is a matter of time and getting used to strings spacing and position? I saw that many classical guitarists play using the planting/preparation technique which is supposed to help with this issue but tbh i didn't find a decent explaination on a real piece. I always see exercises with no string skipping, no jumps, no "every string has to ring until the next chord", which is 99% of what i play. I also understood that i have to try to use the 3 positions as much as possible (strings 1234 2345 3456) but that's also really often not possible: for example i might have an arpeggios on strings 3456 followed by a chord on 1235 so i have no anchor point as every finger moves to another string and so i end up "guessing" the position of the hand when the chord comes.

I just tried the phone version and the horizontal scrolling is great. Isn't there a way to do it on the desktop version yet? Thanks
EDIT: as someone is really fast on the keyboard but didn't take a second to check the phone app i'm talking about, i write this again, hopefully in a more understandable way: the phone app has a "continuos" scrolling, where the cursor/notes playing are always in the center of the screen. Somone calls it "smooth" scrolling. The desktop version, on the other hand, seems to have a "stepped" scrolling, where the cursor is moving from left to right and then, once it reaches the right side of the screen, it jups back to the left side. I would like to have the first type on the desktop version too.

Hi guys, is there a way to hide the scrollbar on the layers pannel? it sits right on top of the hide/unhide icons and it's driving me nuts. Thank you!

Hi guys, i realised that sometimes, when i shoot many small burst or generally shoot many picture in a short time, the camera seems to overexpose some shoots. I think this is due to the fact that diaphram opens between shots and sometimes, somehow, it remains open or doesn't close fast enough. To me it happens in more or less 5% of the shots. Does it happen to you too?
(before you ask me: yes i'm sure it's not some wrong setting or i'm doing something wrong. We talk literally not even taking the camera away from the eye and in between mayb 10 images one is overexposed)

Those are from metal bands so usually they have the “metal” feeling (minor mood, minor II, etc) but also nice modulations.
And usually they are not too hard to play :D

do you know if, somewhere, i can find transcriptions for ukulele? I wanna play it fingerstyle like an acoustic guitar (like doing a bassline on the lower 2 strings and a melody on the higher ones) and at the moment i am transcribing everything by ear/hand and it's like 90% writing down and 10% playing. I don't mind paying if it's well made stuff. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you

I think i'm much better in arranging songs and bringing ideas more than being the main writer. I just got a x100vi and my gf has one too. On really bright days the white frame of the OVF is barely usable. My gf has also a x100vi and on her camera the frame is way more visible.
Did you experience that too? And did you find a fix?

Hi guys, i'm going to get a x100vi soon and i am well aware of the focus error when on OVF+boost. I want to get this camera specifically to use it in OVF. Do you know if the error happens also when in MF? And if you use it with OVF and Normal mode instead of Boost, do you experience any noticiable difference shutter lag? Thank you
