What did you go with and was there any particular reason?

Heya, shopping for my first serious eMTB and I've narrowed it down to the Turbo Levo (I found a 2022 expert for $3600), Santa Cruz Vala, and Amflow PR Carbon (my current pick @ $4500 new).

I'm 6'0"/~200 lbs and looking for something that's playful/agile and fun on trails, but still full-power with good range. Not really looking for enduro. I live in Berkeley, CA, if that helps. The Avinox system price point of the PR Carbon are really appealing, while the Levo and Vala obviously have much more established dealer/support networks.

For anyone who's actually ridden two or all three, how would you compare the ride and overall fun factor? Thanks in advance!

Hey there. I'm just trying to see if some people have suggestions for songs that really apply concepts (maybe vertically or horizontally across the neck)... like... "Connecting The Dots" kinda of songs. I get that OH!! moment from songs over the year's I've played.

For instance I learned a ton from Little Wing (SRV version)-- (but really any Hendrix), Nothing Else Matters, Gravity.. Those songs all use open chords, but also go further up into the next for certain phrasing.

What I guess I'm really aiming for is voicing/phrasing and transitioning from open chords to up the neck, or certain runs/licks that teach a lot. I should also mention that I learned the CAGED system in the key of D, I'm still trying to wrap my head around that a little bit. Thank you in advance!
