For the past few months, my cat has been OBSESSED with "biting" our hands through blankets. He paws at us when we have a blanket on to put our hands under it so he can kind-of bite it. He grabs the blanketed hand with his paws and very shallowly and gently bites, usually using only the teeth between his canines. He doesn't care if we move our hands, shake them, try to play, whatever, he just sits there purring and keeps re-adjusting his bite. I have no idea why he does this, but he wants it all of the time. It's become our nightly routine. Any ideas why?
