Hello guys! Today the weather was very bad here, so having to remain at home, I finally decided to build back my 6241 with a new custom dial that I felt in love with 😍

The Paul Newman White Panda co-branded with Tiffany, with its peculiar ivory colour…

After all the timepieces I built for you, finally it’s time to build one for myself 😛😛😛

My grail was always the cosmo Daytona but sometime I change my mind and I switch them, but this time I am completely stunned by this dial and wanted it inside a black bezel ;)

I want to show to you different aging methods used on a couple of dials that are going to be used in some builds soon.

The 6238 has been scratched a bit, bleached and patined with a bit of rust too on the metals parts

The solo dial has been patined and light oxidated to show a very realistic texture

The oyster reverse has been completely decoloured to lose the strength of the black, leaving the place to a wonderful brownish colour

And now my favourite, the white panda, a rare custom print Tiffany dial, super precise and clean, here the aging was a light oxidation that gave a spectacular ivory textured background yet not heavy, remaining clean, elegant and very light. (That one will become my next vj 6241 build :D)

I wanted to describe with details and precision all the parts used in this build to let everyone know that there is not an out of the box fast and good version of these vintage watches replica, but it’s a long research and test from many sources and every factory have is best parts, there are even factories that have their own specifics for their parts that cannot match with other factories ones, so it’s always better to search for 100% gen specific parts to be sure that you can assemble the watch correctly without flaws or incorrect matches, sometimes it’s anyway needed to rework and reshape parts same.

However… I think that watch came out a real beauty 🤩🤩

I love this watch. Period.
As soon as I finish to build it, I felt in love with.
There’s something special inside the elegant yet simplicity of the 1675 that a submariner doesn’t have.
I usually like only chronographs, but this reference is my only exception.
I wonder why they never done a coke version of this.

Hello guys! That’s one work I’m actually working on, a very old Rolex calendar chronograph, thanks to a very kind sir from France I had this wonderful dial and I suddenly started to build it!

I already built few of this but I sold them. I discovered that I really like this kind of watch and I needed to build one for me 😜
